I have been using this place for years. It is not consistent in any way. Sometimes the tanks are clean and the plants are fresh, other times it is the opposite. It is the same with staff, today I had to look for somebody to serve me.

Wide variety of cold water, tropical and Marie fish. Large pond koi also available. Large selection of tanks and equipment. Very knowledgeable staff. Can recommend!

Where do i start. I know from when i wanted to purchase a small fish tank, because I'd down sized. The guy who sold it to me was great, change the filter when light flashes at 28 days. Great i thought, until i set it up. The lid on top of the tank which is plastic bowed so much fish were launching themselves out of the water, i lost 2. The light packed in as well. On returning to the store, i complaind about the the light too another guy, who's reply was bring it in, we might have one knocking around somewhere. HELLO. I live 18 miles away. Long way to come for a Maybe. I mentioned about the lid, and the reply was ooh really shouldn't do that. Quite shocked with the comments. 5 weeks into the purchase tank was becoming rather cloudy. The 28 day indercater didn't work. The filter was filthy. Went back to the shop, forgot to take the light back to tell the same guy about the tank 28 day indercater light doesn't work. Only to tell me that my tank doesn't do that. I said i was missold the tank because i was told it did. And he shrugged his shoulders. I went back home again, climbed the attic for the box. Clearly on the box 28 day filter change indercater light. I rest my case. Returning to the shop again to tell the same guy that it does, i asked him what's he going to do about it, he said do i want to get intouch with the REP. i declined and said that's his job. He took my mobile number and said because it's Xmas. I'll ring him January the 2nd. It's April now and still waiting. I have a piece of wood on top of my tank to stop the last 2 fish i have from killing themselves. I paid £89 for this heap of junk. I've kept fish for many years. And have spent over £2000. On tanks and fish in Maidenhead aquatics. I've never been so disappointed, a few of the boys that used to work with Maidenhead Ben been one of them were great. Very knowledgeable and the advice second to none. I won't buy from there again. They take your money and that's it. My advice to anyone. DON'T BOTHER. doesn't deserve the 1 star. Had to give it or it wouldn't post.
