I’ve had assistance from a few members of staff and all in all so lovely. But a HUGE shout to Tina! She had helped me completely 180 flip my pond that was in a horrific state after purchasing a home with a pond. Helped me with filters and helped me understand how to care for the pond as a beginner. We saw a fish that had been missed by previous home owners so I came and got it some friends, found another fish in the pond. Then got another load shortly after having 11 total but sadly many of them passed and we couldn’t figure out why until I noticed the ‘filter’ in the pond was just a pump so the poor fish where swimming in their own filth being pumped around. One fish passed within 24 hours of buying it so I came back and they were so kind and replaced it for me. My fishies are now thriving and I love coming to the store and speaking with them all. Always get asked how it’s doing which is so lovely. Attached are a before and a couple of after! HUGE difference. Still algae which is fine but a whole lot better and I’m thrilled! All thanks to Tina’s knowledge and patience with me
Bought a very expensive fish, which I reported as never feeding since purchasing. I have spent a lot of money with them over the pas 12 months. It died a few days later. Unfortunately the fish could not be returned. I gave them an opportunity to offer me something credit or discount on future purchases. The reply was “we have done enough and cannot help” I am a very disappointed customer and will pass on my experience to others within the hobby. I was told it was my fault the fish died never mind all my other fish are fit and well ! The lady on the phone was very condescending.
Always get a great service here. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Recently went in for soil for my new tank and thanks to their price match offer I saved £30 off the in-store price and got what I needed same day. Can’t fault it
I visited Maidenhead Aquatics in Dobbies Llansamlet today. Tina served us, and gave us plenty of excellent advice about what fish to put in our community tank. Couldnt fault her, a very lovely lady, and we will definitely visit again..Thank you Tina

The woman on the phone was extremely rude when I asked for 2 simple items. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!
We were first time buyers of fish. We wanted a tank and the full works but had no idea on what to do. Tina helped us pick a tank and explained we had to wait a week for fish. I'm a very impatient person but I followed her advice. We've bought 2 lots of fish within a 2 week period and we're so happy with her advice and she is so friendly.100 out of 100 from her
What a lovely place to start my hobby! I went in on the 22 June to buy my first tank. I was met by a very well versed staff member who advised me on what I should look for and basic parameters that where needed in a small tank. Thank you Dan and other staff members for all your help, keep up the great work. I hope you like the tank.
