I have just bought a puppy and the service has been outstanding. We had a meeting with a nurse before picking up the puppy. A health check with a vet and then another meeting with the nurse with once we had the puppy. And then we were invited to puppy party's and none of the above has cost us and money and the staff all want to get involved with your puppy too and the service is amazing 🐾🐾🐾

Our Vet referred our Springer Spaniel, Max, to Macqueens after severe lameness on his front leg and initial X-rays showing no obvious problem. From the very first phone call to book the appointment we were so impressed at how friendly and helpful the team were (Becky in particular). Upon arriving at Macqueens, our first impression of the surgery was great, it was extremely clean and well kept. It was also stocked with Pet Food, toys, collars, leads and general pet accessories. We were greeted by two lovely receptionists and went on to see Mr Ian Macqueen who is probably one of the nicest people we've ever met, his passion for his work and the animals was plain to see. He explained everything in detail, including the procedure, possible costs, possible risks etc and completely reassured us, which meant that we left Max knowing he was in the best possible hands. A few hours later we received a call with an update that a fracture had been found and surgery was underway. We collected Max after only 4.5 hours of dropping him off and it was obvious that he'd been well looked after during the day. The surgery performed by Ian was outstanding, Max is doing well and we honestly can't thank him enough. Fingers firmly crossed that Max will need no surgery in the future, but if he does, we know who we'll be going to!

Always so friendly and helpful. Always great availability for appointments also, usually able to get a same day appointment even though not urgent.

Great care from Mr Macqueen. Very personal service and great result for our working cocker spaniel
