Great farmhouse shop and cafe. They do their own smoked bacon and salmon - delicious! Recommend doing a walk along or around if you've got enough time and are up to it the nearby reservoir either before or after visiting Mackenzies.
Excellent, very friendly staff and good value food. We had a lunch with good quality food & decent size portions. The environment was relaxing and the covid separation was good it felt like a safe place. We are definitely going back once the tier 3 is lifted.
A nice farm shop for special treats - in the middle of renovation but looking lovely. Unimpressed with the bread was very hard! And the sausage rolls were not great. However, the smoked duck and smoked chicken are well worth the drive. Hopefully the renovation won't lose the charm and variety of gorgeous products we used to buy.
A really lovely place to have lunch and shop for all things local! Fully recommend the Fish and the Meat boards, just amazing. Also has a fantastic Farm Shop that is actually full of meats, vegetables, breads and local produce. Its the best one around here for sure!
We had a great Sunday roast here at the weekend. The beef and vegetables were incredible. We were a little disappointed that the amazing smoked meat sharing platters weren't available on a Sunday and the Yorkshire puddings were a bit odd they were more like bread. However, it was a lovely lunch and we love the attached farm shop
This is a lovely farm shop where they offer a fantastic range of goods and produce as well as lots of great gifts. There is also an excellent cafe serving hot and cold food at reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend for families and groups.
Fantastic farm shop. With a wonderful cafe we had the boozy meat sharing plater absolutely gorgeous. Very friendly and helpful staff will definitely be returning
Extremely friendly staff. We had a breakfast which was devine. Lots of nice goodies to buy in the shop.
