Biggest selection of lentils I’ve ever seen. The manager had the most robust constitution in the food business. 1300hrs. Christmas Eve. Fridge full of turkeys. Not cutting the prices yet! I like the cut of their jib.
I was very surprised by the big selection of directly eatable snacks and the big selection of baked goods. Everything was very tasty, and I also liked that there is the possibility to buy a lot with so available takeaway cutlery.

Nothing like a Christmas Eve bunfight when people are out for a bargain. Jostling for position to get first dibs at the heavily discounted turkeys, flowers and soon to expire trifles. Felt sorry for the staff having to put up with tight folk like me climbing over each other like it was black Friday at Walmart. Picked up a great lobster/prawn/crab seafood platter for £42 from £100. Very nice. Was it worth £100? Probably not. £42 was actually pretty good value.nStaff are always friendly and professional. Merry Christmas.
I really don't like shopping, and today was not a good day, I had to get some shopping so I ran in to grab a ready meal. The guy the Legend at the self service check outs is the best best person I've ever met in a shop, I'm still laughing now, Honestly the guy is an absolute credit to Mark's and Spencer, I now can't wait for the next time I need to go shopping. I will find out his name and his shift pattern so I can have an absolute hoot with him, He cheered me up no end, I just wanted him to be recognised for being an absolute legend, May he be rewarded in life Rich
