What a relief to walk into M & S today whilst the temperature was so high. The lovely cool air conditioning was lovely and allowed me to take my time to look around comfortably instead of rushing to get back out of the heat. I love the fresh fruit and m&S's Jaffa cakes every time I go in, then I can chill and shop for whatever else I went in for. It's always a pleasurable experience and I often come away with more than I went in for.
Spot on for customer service.nThe vegetarian/ vegan area is very small.nI got a pack of 4 circle bubble and squeak, a mini caterpillar cake & a can.nThe bubble & squeak are quite tasteless, so I made a burger, of the bubble squeak, vegan burger, hallumi & sweet chilli jam; was very tasty.nThe car park is busy and small.
My absolute favourite food shop!!! Can be a tiny bit price some times but always find the quality worth it. They have products that come from many of the countries that we used to live in…Indian, Malaysian, Mexican, etc. and UK…
I would advise staff to monitor temperature control more carefully, as some frozen products appeared to have been defrosted, damaged, and then frozen again.
Good sized store, lovely staff, large car park, out of town, easy to get to off Ripon by-pass.
