Had two tyres fitted on my bike. Good price. Great service.

Very friendly and helpful staff booked in for a service for my bike.

Proper bike shop, engaging and knowledgeable owner. Problem solved in 10 minutes after AA recovery - charged me a fiver. Didn’t have a fiver - just come for a service at some point  the says. My now port of call for future servicing.

Amazing customer service, Pete is fantastic to deal with, nothing is too much trouble, bought my AJS Modena from them and haven't regretted a moment of it. Honest and trustworthy advice and service, the only place I will be using. Thanks MPH MOTO

Don’t listen to the silly negative reviews about Pete. He is a brilliant mechanic and knows his stuff when it comes to bikes. Cannot fault the quality of his work and prices are more than reasonable. Lovely guy to speak to,always puts ur best interest first when it comes to your bike not spitting jargon to get u to pay more and have work done that’s not needed like most garages. Big difference about Pete is that he’s a professional mechanic not a fitter like most dealers who charge a arm and a leg and don’t know anything about the bikes they are working on apart from how to change a part for a new one. Would recommend everyone to go to Pete for anything small to large work, wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else.  - Lewis Reynolds

My son took his moped to have a bolt removed. It was no bother for Pete  Pete is easy to talk to and very knowledgeable  If I ever get a motorbike Pete will be getting my custom

At last! A decent, honest and competent motorcycle repair shop. An utter gentleman and great technician, wish I had found MPH Moto two years ago, would of saved a fortune! Can not recommend highly enough  September 2020 update: well after numerous trips to see Pete with my son's problematic moped, he has continually pulled out the stops to get it back on the road  the problem with the Moped is the manufacturer and the rider! not the repairs!  And his honest appraisal of the last fault was it wasn't worth the repair and that he could get it back on the road but in his professional opinion it would be throwing good money down the drain.  He could of easily repaired it and taken the money but as I stated in my original he is a gentleman ! thanks Pete !

As per previous posts, ignore any negative comments made about Pete at MPH. I had a very intricate job required on my GS1150 which would flummox most people except a BMW mechanic. Not so with Pete. He went into the job with enthusiasm, honesty as to time to do the job and a frank and open approach to the price. I had a couple of other additional things like fork seal replacements that I hadn't discussed prior to taking the machine to Pete but it was not a problem in any event to carry out the work. I can't fault Pete or his excellent results. Rare to find such an exceptional service so I can very honestly say, don't go anywhere else but to Pete at MPH!

I needed a suspension upgrade on my Z750, rang around a number of shops who either wanted to sell me a new bike or couldn't be bothered to help - a mate that races told me about Pete at MPH. I gave him a quick ring, and he was awesome - no hard sell, no initial commitment from me - just loads and loads of advice, after about an hour on the phone, he'd suggested a full set-up, covered the whys, if and buts of what I'd read and we decided on a new rear shock and adjustable fork inserts - I told him I'd drop the bike down and to just get on with it - he said NO, which took me aback a little, until he explained it would be cheaper for me to get the parts THEN drop the bike down and he'd fit them and set the bike up!!  I got hold of the parts and dropped the bike down to MPH in Newport - again time obviously isn't money in the case of MPH unlike the dealers and Pete explained what he'd do, why he was going to do it, how the bike would feel when it was done etc. He checked the rest of the bike over and that the parts I'd ordered were correct - so he could give me an exact - no surprises later - price for the work, I'm not going to say how much he charged but I was very very happy with the price. I left the bike and waited for him to call to say it was done. I also had braided lines fitted whilst he had it again after discussion about best options.  In a few days Pete was on the phone - bike was done - and suggested I went down in full kit so he could set it up - another hour or so of measurements, short rides, discussion and adjustments and we were all done - Bike is now amazing - like a different machine.  MPH were superb, Pete was a top bloke and the work was top notch - I would definitely go there again and recommend MPH to anyone - if you want no bullsh*t advice from someone who has "been there and done it" then its definitely the place for you.
