Just finished a heavenly meal at this place that we just stumbled upon and it was busy/full even on a Monday evening, and so glad we stuck around for a table! Ordered 3 meals for 3 of us, but it was more than enough. Each portion can easily be for 2 people. We decided to try the goat curry, the sizzling sisig, and the beef Kare Kare... All delicious and highly recommended!
If you're looking for an extraordinary dining experience, be sure to visit this intimate gem of a restaurant in Earl's Court, known for its exceptional authentic Filipino cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal with friends or loved ones. One standout dish that you simply must try is their amazing chicken adobo. This traditional Filipino dish is expertly prepared, with tender chicken simmered in a flavorful blend of soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, and spices. Each bite is a delightful explosion of savory goodness that will leave you craving more. The friendly staff and attentive service add to the overall charm of this remarkable eatery. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Filipino food or a curious newcomer, this restaurant promises a memorable culinary adventure. I will definitely be back to savor more of their delectable offerings!
To be honest, it was my first time trying some Filipino main course and I am unsure if it is authentic or no, but one thing that I can say is the dessert is not a good option here. I rather liked the stir fried vegetables and then soup in the pot which had tamarind and okra with pork base with rice. Overall, I can say that as a spice loving person, this place is not for me, while my friends enjoyed there.
Visited for dessert. Ate was extremely helpful and kind to us. The place was very aesthetic with beautiful paintings and a tasteful interior. Foodwise, dessert was a bit too sweet but still pretty good. We had the turon and ube ice cream, and the buko pie with ube ice cream.
I had the opportunity to have a meal with some friends from West London, so we chose this small Filipino eatery. When people talk about food, certain countries immediately bring specific dishes to mind. For example, France → cheese & red wine, Italy → pasta & pizza, Sweden → surströmming, Iceland → fermented shark, and so on. However, when it comes to the Philippines, my mind goes blank, like the uncharted depths of the Mariana Trench – a complete knowledge void. So, at this little eatery, we decided to order a platter because it had a bit of everything. It turned out to be unexpectedly delicious. The crispy pork belly was crunchy and fragrant, bursting with juice at every bite. The grilled chicken wings were tender and tasty, and the soup, which had a lot of lemon juice, was tangy and savoury, incredibly appetising. It also came with vegetables, small pickles, fruit, and various dipping sauces. Unfortunately, the three dishes we initially wanted were unavailable, so we added two more: one was sausage with rice, and the other was "braised pork". From the menu, we thought the sausage with rice would be slices of sausage stir-fried, but it turned out to be a whole sausage. It was soft, tender, and slightly sweet, not greasy at all, possibly containing some fruit, and with a low-fat content, making it very refreshing. The "braised pork" was named because the description resembled braised pork, but what arrived was "red cooked meat." It was the only dish out of everything we ordered that wasn't particularly impressive. The rest were very tasty and worth a second visit.
5/5! The food here is really good. One of the best filipino resto so far. Our server, Ate Patricia, is very attentive as well and always make sure that we are attended to.Food: 5/5
Tasty and homey Filipino food. Sisig and Kaldereta just hit the spot! My Caribbean husband love it. Worth the trip to London. Would be a great introduction to our little known and under-appreciated naturally fusion-type Filipino cuisine, especially if you don’t want to break the bank to dine at Cafe Romulo fine dining Filipino restaurant in High Street.
Absolutely perfect Filipino restaurant. Family run, small, friendly staff, outstanding food! Could not be better! 11/10!! My nanny growing up was Filipina, and I remember exactly the food and Lutong Pinoy was spot on! Thank you so much! Was the highlight of my whole trip to London. The adobo was delicious, the bistek just perfect the small amount of chili you added really made the dish wonderful, the lumpia was homemade, halo halo was perfect, and the bangus/milkfish exactly how my brother and I remembered! So thank you so much Lutong Pinoy for bringing my childhood back to me. That is priceless. With love from America, Ricky
