My family and I came here for dinner on a weekend as they wanted to eat Filipino food. There are seats inside and outside, and you can sit where you prefer. There are plenty of options to choose from on their menu. It is self service, so once you have chosen what you want to eat, you go to the till and place your order like Nando’s and they bring it to your table once cooked. We ordered Lumpiang Shanghai, Bulalo, Pork Sisig, Pork Barbecue, and desserts - Lecheflan and Halo Halo. The food was very delicious. Very authentic Filipino food and we would definitely come here again in the future. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. We enjoyed our visit.
We ordered pork bbq & sisig. It was very good! Food was hot. We also ordered halo halo and taho! The food gave us a feeling of going back to the Philippines. Highly recommended & hopefully we can come back to try their other foods.Food: 5/5
Great food , very nice people and authentic Filipino food . I had the beef stew and boiled rice 27/08/24 today we had the beef Kara- kara and chicken Arrozcaldo and Prawn tempura. Loved it
One of the best place to find authentic and affordable Filipino dishes. They serve big portions and had to takeaway leftovers. The staff are welcoming and overall ambience is nice.Food: 5/5
My partner and I visited Kamayan first time and we like it. It’s a typical “karinderia feels” The food are decent and the price is okay. The bangus sinigang is perfect, 10/10. Longganisa needs reheating because it is very hard but tasty 7/10. The spring roll is okay but not delicious, but with sauce it is okay. 7/10. The leche flan is 8/10. The ambiance if nice although they only have few tables. If you are looking for a filipino food on budget and craving for filipino food it’s nice to try.
Date Visited 10/2023: During my 15-day stay in London, I dined here around 4 times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, I noticed that many of the dishes I like were not available. The taste of the food remains consistent and aligns with its price. On one occasion, a birthday celebration filled the small space, leading us to sit outside in the cold without heat lamps. It might be helpful to call ahead and check for gatherings. The street offers various alternative restaurants if you prefer not to wait for indoor seating. The elderly Filipino man was very friendly. I’ll consider returning on my next visit to town.
Had visited today, the food was very good and very authentic, the portion sizes were reasonably adequate for the price and tasted really nice However, in terms of service, I understand this is probably a family business so there is potentially less waiters and are less attentive to orders but the food and atmosphere was great nonetheless.
Never missed to dine in here when visiting London. Love the ambience, very homey and love the mucic. Just the perfect place to satisfy craving for Filipino cuisine. It’s self service when ordering but the staffs are very helpfull.
Upon entering the resto Filipino ambiance welcomed us straight! Smell of filipino house kapag may fiesta! Music is really good. Food was amazing, service was good with very friendly staff, and as I said atmosphere is like fiesta in the Philippines which is brilliant! Would definitely visit again!Food: 5/5
I ordered the Kare Kare and it was the BEST dish I ate in London during my 3-day stay. I told this to the staff manager? there. I had been eating overly expensive bland western food in London which created a dent in my wallet, but didn’t leave me feeling satisfied or filled me up. I also asked for vegetables okra and eggplant which was awesome. The manager? I talked with was friendly. A few things to consider improving though is making the sauce more peanut tasting I have had richer and thicker sauce for the Kare Kare and to make the rice softer and scoop it out only when the food is ready as it was kind of cold when I ate it. If you are in the area, I recommend this restaurant! I would choose this restaurant over a western one any day! Glad I dined here on my way to the airport!
