Come along and join us here at The Compass whether it's watching the football with the guys, a night out with the girls or for a hearty meal with the family!

We have several HD TVs in both our restaurant and bar areas with Sky and BT Sports showing all live sporting footage making us the perfect place to watch the latest games live!

In our restaurant, we have plenty of deals so there is something to suit everyone! Sunday-Thursday we run our 2 main meals for £11.99 deal which proves very popular with our customers! At the weekend, you can enjoy 2 Rump Steaks and a bottle of house wine for only £27 or upgrade to Sirloin for £32!

With plenty alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks on offer, we have something to suit everyone who walks through our doors! Fancy a pint after a long day at work? Pop along and try our brand new Belhaven Saltire Lager which is quickly become a favourite since replacing Tennants. For all the wine connoisseurs out there, we have an extensive wine menu with bottles from all over the world!

The Compass is a family-friendly business who aim to cater for everybody. We welcome children until 10.30pm and have a varied children's menu with a selection of meals and drinks for only £3.99.

We do operate a Challenge 25 policy which states we have the right to ID anybody we think are under the age of 25. Anybody under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or a person over the age of 18 to be in the building at all times as we are predominately a bar which serves food.

We've just eaten the most amazing and huge Sunday roast - large portions and yummy   the sticky toffee pudding to die for! Staff helpful and happy,  service quick. All in all very enjoyable and worth a return trip.

Booked a table on Tuesday 4th March for a meal for myself and my wife. Steak Pie is second to none and the service was superb. Claire and Laura certainly made the night by their professionalism and their chat. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Wow! What a wonderful place. We broke down on our way to England and pulled in here. With an 8hr journey ahead and broken down, safe to say we were not in a great mood. However we got some food and put up here for a while. The food was incredible and super fast! The staff were AMAZING! We actually ENJOYED being broken down for a moment! They let us stay and keep our luggage in the foyer while our car was collected and we waited for our replacement. We ended up staying hours which we were treated to a coffee on the house for our troubles. Such an incredible experience which was really touching considering how our day is going.nIf this is local to you I would recommend this place anyway based on food and atmosphere - I personally witnessed some families really enjoying their time. It is worth noting this place is dog friendly and there is is a FREE function room. So with all this considered plus the great staff- 10/10 from me.nThanks!!!

My mom and I are travelling from South Africa, and we had no idea where to eat. We found the Compass, walked in, and we were greeted with smiles and great music.nnFirst time eating Haggis - it was FANTASTIC. The food was incredible, and the staff are friendly and communicative.nnThank you to the Compass Team for making our first evening in Scotland one to remember.nn15/10 would recommend!

The staff were friendly and welcoming.  The restaurant was fairly quiet, it took longer than expected to order the food. The drinks arrived in good time.nThere was a lot of things on menu unavailable. Food was just okay, The steaks were tough, the special menu portions were very small, and the service was just average.
