A few arty crafty style shops and a decent sized garden nurseries across the lane. A nice little café that does good food and drinks (top notch bacon roll!), It's worth a visit if you're passing!.

Lovely place to amble around for a couple of hours. Nice little shops / galleries to look in and a lovely cafe in an historic courtyard. Nice little walk down to the lake and further around the grounds if you wish. Parking is reasonable and there is also the garden centre next door.

A collection of shops in the Stables block to Staunton Harold Hall. Ferrers Gallery is filled with 101 beautiful things you can't live without. High quality art, craft and jewelry.  Lots of other lovely shops/artist workshops etc in the courtyard plus a great tearooms. Good walking in nearby woods especially when snowdrops are out. Very close to National Trusts Calke Abbey. Nursery also nearby. The church in the grounds of the hall is National Trust too.

I love going to the Staunton Harold. It's a beautiful estate. Lots of nice walks and interesting shops. The Ferrers Centre has artisan craft people making bread, leather goods,ceramics, jewellery amazing fabrics for quilting to name a few. There is a great nursery and also aquatic place. It is well worth a day out!
