Well rainy day in late Autumn. Gardens are very nice plus Manor. Not many people around. Seen what I could. Some parts of the Garden closed. You can spend there nice 2 hours wonder around.
Plant lovers will love these gardens. Gorgeous cafe right on the house front which is an excellent sun trap! The best array of rare or unusual plants I've ever seen!
Absolutely beautiful gardens! Lovely little cafe where we enjoyed tea & cake. The children loved the stack play area too - all in all a really lovely day out!
Visited when the gardens had just been reopened. Parking and one way system well organised and easy to navigate. Plenty of space to walk around and to sit and enjoy the gardens. Gardens are stunning with beautiful borders, sweet peas and water lilies. Cafe open for takeaways, including gluten free options and ice cream.
I have performed at many weddings in this venue and the place is like scene out of a fairytale. It is always a pleasure to perform in the gardens with these incredible views. The gardens are always impeccable and the harp looks at home in this setting.
Even though the house was not open, and there was a reduced number of gardeners working it was still worth a visit and to have a picnic. A café was open but the toilets were quite a walk down to the south of the site. The toilets did not have a sign saying one at a time
Fabulous gardens & arboretum. Formal garden rooms are always the highlight for me, not all open due to Covid19 in 2020, but have been many times before & will again.
