Booked the venue for my wife's 50th birthday, including bedrooms for guests. Derek and his granddaughter and all staff were absolutely superb. Contacted all guests in advance to make sure they knew there was a party on so they were happy. Every guest was happy with the room and breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and everyone had a fab time. It was very reasonable to hire the venue and they allowed us to bring our own food and provided the bar for us. Acoustics are ideal for a band/disco - second time I have played there. I will definitely use them again personally and can't recommend them enough if you are looking for a good venue.
Amazing facility, front out house staff was super friendly. Room was spacious lovely comfy bed. Would 110% recommend to anyone. If ever staying in Liskeard again, will deffo stay here again. Plus the bar is fully stocked ;
I stayed here for work, the room was comfy and bright and clean. The hotel had a homely feel to it and the staff were very welcoming and helpful with everything. The morning breakfast was delicious and there is a very friendly bar to sit in. The owner Derek is a true gem and cannot do enough for you to make your stay an awesome one. Would highly recommend to stay.
My partner and and i stayed at the eliot hotel, delighted with the service, nice room, great breakfast, highly recommend the accommodation, very friendly staff, will be going there again.Rooms: 5/5
Our previous hotel was double booked and recommend us to Eliot house hotel and We are very great full for that. Owner of hotel and staff are very attentive and go extra mile to make your stay comfortable, they are running this place from generation and you can feel it in hospitality and professionalism. We booked 1 triple room for 3 of us and it's decent size and clean. It has shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom, and in room it has hair dryer, desk, chair, tea,coffee and even hot chocolate : breakfast has good options and it's in nice breakfast area. It's good to start your day with smiling faces around you. Looking forward to see you again!
Fantastic service, clean room excellent breakfast and if you book for the Sunday carvery you won’t be disappointed or left hungry!Rooms: 5/5
Nice friendly staff and atmosphere, rooms are clean & tidy, the facilities are good in the room, bar & dinning area's. Breakfast was excellent and although there was a good selection and options there was no fried bread we asked if we could have some the owner said yes that it was not a problem so very adaptable and accommodating. Me and my partner have been there twice and enjoyed our time and felt welcomed we will definitely be going back.
Friendly staff, made us feel welcome. Decor outdated, small ensuite and bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Bunk bed mattresses, however, were better. Great breakfast options.
The decor is old and tired and many of the rooms are out of use. The carpet is sticky and stained and I’m guessing is the same one that was put down in the 1970s. There was one girl doing the whole breakfast room and the attention was sadly not there. All in all it’s not a pleasing placeRooms: 1/5
Bedrooms are clean but small. Water pressure for shower practically nonexistent. Cooked breakfast almost inedible. Internet poor, unless sitting in reception area. But staff friendly enough.
