Staying in Looe, a regular trip. Holidays here since childhood, now with my husband , twice a year. Easter and Remembrance Weekend, sharing accommodation between 2 establishments. Beautiful town. Friendly locals, with just one establishment we've visited over the years. Pub accommodation this weekend, as usual. Highly recommended. Returning next year, of course.
Very tidy station with litter bins. Full timetables provided which is unusual these days. Good information about train running with display electronic board. Guard very friendly and helpful with our query. I think there is a ticket office open sometimes but it was closed when we visited on a Sunday. We bought our ticket from the guard on the Paytrain.
Absolutely stunning beautiful Harbour beautiful beach and outstanding views
Cute little station!
Pretty little station at the head of the estuary leading to an ancient harbour. The journey from Liskeard through the 'sunken' valley is very memorable and will stay with you for years. Glades, streams and tiny halt stations near ancient Celtic welsh princesses' wells. It feels like a journey through a place of myth and romance and all for a couple of pounds.
Great little station and lovely little route to Liskeard.
Love this little fishing port.
Love this place. Always something to see and something to do.
