Nice, but having seen photos kind of slightly disappointing, not sure what it was. Beach, sandy, town quite small, with some good independent shops, arrived by bus from Polruan 45mins. Seagulls aggressive. Two sets of public toilets one on beach front, other in town
If there’s one thing that’s needed in Looe it’s parking since it’s such a popular place! Beautiful spots to locate whether they be close by or a walks away from the car. I would suggest long walks to properly explore the beauty of the area.
Absolutely spectacular, went for new years fireworks and was fantastic
Pretty unspoilt harbour village. Definitely worth a visit and stroll round the unusual shops. Don't forget to try a Cornish Pastie.
Looe is a lovely place. We visited in December and I can imagine its even more beautiful during the summer months.
Plenty of parking, bay width seem reasonable, accommodates large vehicles. Clean, nice views, toilets, on the flat, next to a lake. Pay on exit. Card or cash. 24hr parking. Just remember not to return to this car park within 1hr.
Great location on the Estuary, we used to park overnight here in our motorhome about 38 years ago, was great to visit again and brought back fond memories. Tip:If it's super busy, drive down the road past the entrance as there are more spaces at the bottom end.
There's a defibrillator on the wall of the lost & found building near the middle of the car park. Located close to the bridge between E & W Looe. Nearby are the train station & local East Looe shopping street
Absolutely love Looe! One of the most beautiful coastal town in the UK for me and always try to have a trip over when in Cornwall.
Beautiful as always, but avoid when tourists around , we local so can enjoy the peace and quiet when everyone gone home x
