Welcoming, friendly receptionists, they even said goodbye as I was leaving.nThe hospital appeared to be very clean and organised; didn't have to wait long to be seen in the X-ray department and again the staff were great.nVery impressed, thank you.
I was advised by my doctor to go for an x-ray on my hip having developed severe pain in the joint. I chose Longton Cottage Hospital as it was the nearest and had free car parking.nChecking in was easy and all the staff were so pleasant and helpful. I was directed to the x-ray department to register and had only a ten minute wait before being called in.nThe ladies carrying out the x-ray were also very professional, cheerful and helpful.nThe whole process from start to finish took just over thirty minutes!!nI doubt private health care could either match or improve on this NHS service…Excellent!!!nThank you Longton Cottage Hospital to all staff concerned!!
I went to longton cottage hospital yesterday for a scan on my hip unfortunately due to unforeseen seen circumstances all the roads were gridlocked so the imaging person couldn't get there so I went again this morning and the exray department was closed so that's 2 wasted journeys, the receptionists are so nice but I think the trust or management that run it really need to get there act together, they are paid a lot of money and need to sort this out , I am hoping to try again tomorrow but if the exray department still isn't open then I want some answers from them who run it from them has to why and will ask my local MP to question you too , disgusting service by the trust
It's not always good having to attend a hospital appointment, but when your greeted with a smile and a happy to help receptionist, it makes you feel better.
