Rip off. Just enough chips to fill a pasty for £2. Unforgivably small. Avoid.

Not great for take away. The take out nosh might start off ok but they use plastic coated bags which makes the food sweat and remains ultra-greasy when unwrapped. I think there's a reason it's traditional to have ones fish and chips wrapped in paper rather than plastic. I haven't tried eat-in but I'd wager it's better than take away.

I had chips and fishcake, both lovely and a lot cheaper than anything else in the area that I could find. Perfect for a quick cheap meal!

Stayed at a touring site a few miles outside of Bridport, I went into town to find a fish and chip bar and came across Longs on West St. Order chicken and chips twice, paid £10.50. After a period of time I was given two bags each containing Chicken and chips which I opened back at the site. The chips I must confess were very good, but the Chicken was absolutely appalling. It was dry, colourless and after a few bites discovered it was also tasteless. I have never come across “takeaway food” as bad as this so called chicken anywhere. The option of returning the food back to Longs was out of the question due to my location and the available time. I suggest that you always check the goods before leaving the shop especially if you have ordered chicken.
