Superb freshly cooked food - best scampi ever. Fabulous potato chips- gorgeous flavour. Recommended to friends who visited within 48 hours and sent a thankyou in minutes for the recommendation. Partner had cod- moist and succulent- great batter. Going back soon.

Must have been a chip shortage today. That or a regular needs to be renamed as small. A handful of chips and a small soggy bit of cod for £5.80. Edible but wont be back

Went for Christmas dinner. No atmosphere whatsoever. No music. Dinner plain nothing special. Potatoes deep fried and parsnips looked like they were 100 years old. Mashed Swede so anaemic looking thought it was potato. Cheese board was nice...1 grape, five small biscuits and two whole wedges of cheese. Wouldn't recomend

As you'd expect, fresh local seafood and beautifully done chips. They also do 'flower teas' which are fun to watch. The restaurant has been here for many years, a testament to the balance of quality and value they achieve.
