Weirdly I actually own/run a much smaller company which operates within the same industry.nnFortunately the horticultural/groundcare sector is a very friendly one and everyone seems to sympathise with one another and help each other out.nnBut Michael has take this to the next level has gone above and beyond for us, not once, but twice!!! We had a slight issue with a head which we bought in for machining, they sorted it totally free of charge. Then not but a few days later we had an ATV in our workshop which required something else, yet again they helped us out, totally free of charge. I don't know what they drink down there at the Longmoors but I need to buy them a crate of whatever it is!

Really excellent horticultural machinery dealers. I wouldn't use anywhere else for my garden machinery parts and repairs.nI always get excellent friendly service from all the staff. I highly recommend Longmoors.
Really disappointed by the customer service - we have been trading with Longmoors for years including buying several second hand quad bikes for our farm business. On the last couple of occasions we have been to collect parts the staff have been really pedantic. When I approached the manger to offer some feedback he was defensive and dismissive. I really don’t like being negative but I have had enough and I won’t be dealing by with them any more.
My advice is stay away from this company. I have been treated badly and ripped off. The salesman took advantage of me being a pensioner and vulnerable. My experience… I explained that I have golfers elbow and am struggling to start my Honda mower which is why I decided to trade it in against another mower. The salesman convinced me to buy a new one that would start easily, as he demonstrated just one pull got it going. After a couple of weeks I needed to cut the grass so got the new mower out. It took me a very painful 8 pulls to start it! I used it for half an hour. I then took it back to them. They said they would deduct £175 from the price I paid… Now the BAD bit, they refused to refund me the remaining £525 saying I must buy another machine from them. After having explained my health issue ie my golfers elbow, they suggested a battery mower even though I wanted a main’s electric mower because of no problem starting it and it being light in weight. They do not sell these so I reluctantly went away with a battery mower instead of a refund. I then had to speak to the general manager and ask why I was grossly overcharged. He said I was charged out as individual parts not as a Kit. They have now refunded me £106. Their price was £419 for the Kit, everywhere else it’s £300, another painful rip off. I FEEL VERY MISTREATED AND WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO AVOID THIS COMPANY AND USE A MORE COMPETITIVE AND SYMPATHETIC ONE! …
