I have only recently joined the practice, but have been 4 or 5 times now for several reasons. Everyone I have dealt with has been really helpful and kind. I had a blood test yesterday and had to drag my two young children with me, Jane was so nice. My two girls 'helped' her and came out saying they wanted to be nurses. It was so sweet. Cant fault them so far. So thank you Long lane.
Terrible surgery. I don't even know how they can call themselves that. Been suffering with a stomach illness for over a month, done multiple samples which they have lost 2 of now. LOST my samples TWICE on separate occasions and still cannot tell me what my illness is. Said they have referred me to a specialist which I have been on the waiting list for 13 months now and the doctors have said that's the absolute most they can do for me. If you don't pay to go private you aren't a priority. You're treated like you're nothing. I have mentioned on multiple occasions the depression my illness is causing me and how my quality of life is at an all time low and they always reply with "we're doing all we can". I'm sick of this surgery. The only good thing about this practice is the receptionists.
Prescribed medication by Hospital Consultant for long term condition. Contacted surgery to have prescription arranged for new medication. Reception staff helpful. Doctor refusing to prescribe medication via the Pharmacy Technician. Hospital sent letter to Surgery in August to update GP re new medication and ongoing care but still refusing to prescribe new medication.
Shocking surgery why can’t you pre-book an appointment for less serious issues rather then having to jump on the mad telephone queue at 0800 every morning it’s a pathetic excuse of a surgery, I’m sure they make it that difficult to get through just so people put off their problems
First in the phone queue for over 45 minutes at 1056am... Beyond ridiculous. This is not peak time, it would appear noone is on hand to answer the phones. My partner just called to check and there are now 10 people in the queue... Waiting for someone that will never answer. The fact that the surgery doesn't even bother to read or respond to any of the serious concerns previous comments have highlighted just shows the utter lack of care. Absolutely disgusting you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I’m waiting more then 3 months, any time I have waiting in phone more than hour to get answer.and than we I get my appointment they do nothing to me ,they don’t give me answer of my problem or solution just they say I have to wait,I don’t know if they want me wait my death or what, really they are careless. I’m really sick but when you go to gp just you wasting your time. I’m disappointed
Saw Dr. Rushman for a carpel tunnel procedure. He was absolutely brilliant. Explained everything fully and explained what he was doing as he went along. Could not fault this doctor at all. Brilliant.
Called this morning at 8:00AM and took 45 minutes for a reply. I requested an appointment for arthritis in my hands and back. I was given an appointment for 11:40 arrived at 11:35. I was waiting to see Christine Campbell and waited till I finally was called in at 12:15. I asked twice at the receptionist desk if I had been missed. I found her very abrupt and umsympathetic. I told her my painful wrists and thumbs were getting worse and keeps me awake at night. She asked me what I am taking and I explained that whatever I take regards medication has not helped me. Very rudely she said but what are you taking at the moment. Well if I said nothing I have tried has helped I am clearly currently taking nothing. Then I was asked about anti inflamatory gels. I said I have tried several including previously prescribed ones. To which she replied "you have not had any prescribed" when I said it was a long time ago but I have had something prescribed in the past, she tried to make me feel stupid because I could not remember the names of any gels I had used. I also explained I have been waiting since October for another cortisone injection, her reply was "so is many others and you just have to wait your turn and learn to live with it" and when I mentioned my back she said "make another appointment" I said I asked for an appointment for my hands and back and she rudely said well it's not down here. I asked if she could make the appointment for me as I had to wait so long for a reply on the phone and she bluntly said no ask the receptionist. I was made to feel stupid and a liar. This woman shows no empathy and is rude beyond belief. The young man on reception was more helpful and sorted me with an appointment with a physiotherapist
Friendly and helpful. Can not fault them . They were quick in my diagnosis and sent me straight off to a consultation at LRI
11/3/22 Had cancer scan at Leicester General and given paperwork to take to my doctors for blood test and had to stop my diabetic tablets from 10/3/22 until result of test. Blood taken 14/3/22 at 08.30 and told if not had a result by 1 week to contact health centre. Tuesday 15th had to call the centre and was informed to book another test one of the blood tests had not taken. I only had one taken. Now gone 7 days without my diabetic tablets not a word from a doctor and told by reception blood sample had not been labelled. One of many errors over past years I would like to discuss with a doctor. See what today brings. i8 months since face to face with a doctor..
