I rang up to chase up an appointment for my son who broke his nose back in January & the Receptionist was Extremely Rude to me.  He may not want to be there,  but that doesn't give him the right to speak to me how he did. I'll be contacting my Dr who Referred me,  to see if i can get Referred to the Leicester Royal. Yes I'd much rather fight my way over there than visit this place right on my doorstep,  after this encounter,  especially with a 6 to 9 month waiting list..... which i was never made aware of until today,  but the Receptionist spoke to me like i should know these things

Very efficient hospital with professional caring and calm staff

Unfortunately I've had reason to make use of alot of services based at this hospital over the last 25+ years. I can honestly say that in all of the visits that I've made for myself and my family, I cannot fault the level of care at this hospital. Always been put at ease by staff and loads of questions answered when needed. I would highly recommend this hospital and it's staff.

Staff have been very helpful looking my grandad, couldn’t ask for a better team even if my grandad was being naughty they handle him well, I put my hands up to them, thank you so much

I  have contracts for all wheelchair patient work have done for over 25 years the teams at this hospital are second to none compared with others but not A & E

first time going to coalville hospital today,  I was very impressed,  much more relaxed than a large hospital, consultant  I saw  put me at ease

Rang up to speak to a specific department/nurse and the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and abrupt and disrespectful.she put the phone down on me and I wasn't being rude or anything to her.i simply wasn't quick enough with my answers...I have dementia and I am hard of hearing and she has left me in tears. I rang back and the person who answered the phone was slightly better but when I asked for the rude persons name she at first refused to give it to me. I now know it was Ashleigh. I will pursue an official complaint . It's disgusting.
