Great brrwhouse with an amazing selection of beer and they have Happy hour between 5 and 7 where yiu can get a stein for the price of a pint. I had several and the were all really good. The food was also really nice we had several of the small plates, I can highly recommend the chicken wings and onion rings.Food: 5/5
Great place to grab a pint. It’s attached to the Montcalm hotel, so if you’re staying there, it’s super convenient. It’s also street accessible. I’ve got a fantastic selection of beers, most of which are brewed on premises. Quality is extremely good. Great place to catch a local sports match, they have projection screens on every end of the room and can easily accommodate two hundred people. Put it on your listnext time you’re visiting.
Decent experience. They don’t have your regular mainstream beers on tap e.g Stella’s or birra’s. The staff was friendly, and there were plenty of seats around the place. But packed up quick as people came after work They even had jenga and connect four games to play. They have really clean toilets as well which quite a walk down the place. Parking: It is double yellow line outside.. so you can’t park there. This is located in the city so quite hard to find parking Wheelchair accessibility: I don’t think any steps are required to get in and out of the pub, and to move within the pub. But please call and double check
A new brew pub to me and right in the heart of the City. Super helpful bar staff, took the time to chat over their various brews. I had a couple of beer flights and one brew twice, dispensed by nitro and again by draught.Service: 5/5
On our way from one venue to another, we stopped in here for a drink. Perhaps the bar person was having a bad day, but they weren't overly friendly. I don't like that you have to push cancel on the card machine in order not to tip...for a drink you've had to go up to the bar to order. I'd have been more inclined to tip if they were friendly and happy, but they weren't and the machine still asks automatically.
I'll have to come back here again with a great set of seats and a friendly set of staff. A wonderful time with comfortable chairs and interesting designs on the walls. The only downside would have to be the beer compared to some of the other local pubs. I'm hoping they're improved next time I go back.
Had the pleasure of popping into this pub last week to watch the footy. Despite it being quite busy, the service was amazing particularly from Hannah, who was kind enough to offer some suggestions to members of the party. She's a great member of staff, really engaging, considerate and fun! I would definitely recommend and will be returning!
As I dragged my weary Reebok classics through the streets between the swanky tall glass-fronted tech hubs and office blocks around Worship Street, I started to regret not going straight in to the first Gregg's I saw in Liverpool Street station. I was straight off the Stanstead Express from the airport where my Ryanair flight from Dublin slammed down. I came across a street food market nearby that set my stomach rumbling but the Irish tricolour I painted over the union Jack on my runners seemed to have spurted new energy into my stride; almost as if they knew an Irish red ale and an incredible deal were nearby. That's exactly what I found in the Long Arm. A burger and a pint for a tenner. Where would you get it? Not even in that place where Ronald wears the giant shoes. It's a lunchtime deal that restored my faith in craft beer places and the capital of England. The pint was a reminder of the home I only left 3 hours ago and the beautiful little burger even came with hot chips. God, don't bother with the king but for your own sake save this £10 deal in the Long Arm on Worship Street!
American style sports pub Good food, good beer, good staff, good hygiene. Tucked away gem of a pub Food is on par price wise with other pubs in the area and good enough to justify the price with what they do. Only beer available was their own brew, £6.50 a pint I've seen worse in central.
Visited today after work with colleagues. Whilst the beer selection is good, the food isn’t. We had mozzarella balls cold and absolutely massive, wings OK, nachos inexplicably wet, onion rings and fries ok. The food was served without plates and when I asked for some we were given.. one bowl. No napkins. That food plus 4 pints was £90.. not exactly great. Other punters were mostly groups of shouty drunk blokes being obnoxious. Staff were sort of friendly but mostly standing around talking to each other, so getting a drink felt like you were breaking up their conversation. Despite working 2 mins walk away.. unlikely to come back. Many better pubs and bars a stone’s throw away.
