Myself and a few friends really enjoyed this tour! We were already interested to learn about the Jack the Ripper case, but left feeling like we learned so much more. Paul adds so many interesting details to the tour that paint a picture of London's history and how it's relevant to the case. I learned so much about the cultural history of Aldgate and Whitechaple, and a lot more about the Jack the Ripper case! I also informed Paul in advance that I am partially deaf and he made a big effort to accommodate me which I really appreciated! I strongly recommend going on this tour, I'm planning to invite more friends and family to join me on this tour again!
We really enjoyed this tour, we learned a lot about the different chocolate retailers in London and why they are unique, and tasted some of the best chocolates I've ever had! Paul is a fantastic tour guide, goes at a good pace and keeps us entertained the whole way through, he has an amazing amount of knowledge. I recommend this tour, we had a lovely day out :
Thank you so much for a really fun, informative and well presented tour. We joined you a couple of weeks back now and just realised I hadn't left a review. I'd recommend this tour to anyone as it's an excellent way to learn about Jack the ripper and the history of London. The tour was 2 hours long but only felt like 30 mins because of how good ir was. Time flies by when you're having fun! Would go on another tour with this guide. Thank you for a great evening!
Paul was very informative and entertaining. Everytime we visited a place he left us in suspense wanting to know the next piece of the puzzle intontrging to unravell the mystery of Jack the ripper. Me and my gf thoroughly enjoyed his insight/theory into who it could be. We also learned so much history about Victorian London even though I've been in this country for more than 18 years. I would highly recommend his tour to everyone who wants a nice relaxing and exciting tour upon the streets of city London and Aldgate.
The Jack the Ripper walking tour was fantastic. Our tour guide, Paul, was very informative about, not only all things Ripper related, but the architecture, history and culture of the local area. His small, intimate group size meant that you could hear and interact with everything he said and it feels like you have your own personal guide to London. The fact he had photos to show at each location brought the events from 1888 to life and with Paul pointing out buildings that are still there it made them all the more real.
We did the Jack the Ripper tour on Friday 13th to introduce my American cousin to London's gruesome past. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Paul's knowledge is fantastic and the tour is entertaining and educational. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you Paul for a fab evening!
Excellent Tour with our guide Paul, very knowledgeable about both Jack the Ripper and the area too. I have lived in London 40 years+ and still learnt new facts. The tour was made more enjoyable as you were invited to answer questions, and there were funny and serious anecdotes too. Would recommend this one for any visitors and residents too . Oh, and the fish and chip supper at Poppies was tasty too.
Booked Jack the Ripper tour for 2. Paul was amazing! He gave us so much information, we saw a lot of places and learned so many interesting things. The tour left us very excited! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, it is absolutely worth it!!
We did our ghost tour on a Saturday night and it was amazing! Booking with Paul was such a breeze. He answered my queries via email promptly, no hassle, no complaints whatsoever. He’s also punctual, very knowledgeable and engaging. The private tour is highly recommended especially during these times. We are grateful that it was also extended beyond 1.5 hours! Wow! that came as a surprise! So if you’re looking for an activity to do on a weekend, I suggest you do the private tour as it’s worth every penny.
My husband and I joined Paul for his Jack the Ripper walking tour last week. We we're so impressed with Pauls knowledge, he made it fun and was so interesting. I learnt so much more about the Town in which i was born. The walking pace was really good, plenty of time taken to absorb what you was being told and shown and time was given by Paul to answer any questions we had. He was friendly and funny. The time went so quickly, the pictures he showed us, helped even more to give us more of an insight into what happened, the area and what life was like all those years ago. Many thanks to Paul, well worth the money and a fantastic night out. I highly recommend it.
