I recently had a very disappointing experience with the London School when I went in for a perm. Although I don't expect students to deliver the same level of professionalism as a seasoned stylist, I was shocked to be charged $169—far more than what I would pay at a professional salon. Unfortunately, the perm was poorly executed. Even though I haven't washed my hair yet, the under layers are still straight just three days after the treatment. The result clearly did not justify the high cost. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the manager. She was dismissive and seemed more interested in taking my money than ensuring I was satisfied with the service. For a school, I would have expected more reasonable pricing. Sadly, I received neither. I won't be returning, and I would advise others to be cautious about using their services and Perm Price.
I recently had the pleasure of getting a haircut for Myself, my wife, and my Son from THE BEAUTY ACADEMY London and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. "Moe" barber not only possesses incredible skill and talent but also provides a level of attention and dedication that sets him apart. From the moment we walked in, he took the time to understand exactly what my wife and son were looking for in their haircut. His attention to detail was evident throughout the entire process, and he made sure to execute every aspect with precision. What impressed me the most was the undivided attention he gave us – we felt like my satisfaction was his top priority. The end result was nothing short of fantastic. We left the salon feeling confident and refreshed, with a hairstyle that exceeded my expectations. "Moe" barber truly goes above and beyond to ensure 100% satisfaction. If you're looking for a skilled and attentive hairstylist who delivers outstanding results, we highly recommend "Moe" barber. My experience was nothing short of amazing, and we will be returning for future haircuts.
If you’re looking for a hairstyling program this isn’t the one sadly . You’ll learn more life skills than actual hair skills in this place they call a “school” , teachers fuel drama trust me I avoided drama as much as I could though I was still somehow dragged into it. Nothing but petty unprofessional and rude staff , constantly feeling in the dark with your career goals, bare minimum of professionalism I’d expect from a $15,000 program, unorganized, lack of boundaries between teachers and students I could go on . One instructor would go out drinking with students on weekends and would play favourites , she even came in with Covid making us all sick and unable to makeup our hours . NONE of these “teachers” are trained and instead retired stylists who crush the dreams of new stylists. I’d experience blatant racism, un called for sexual remarks from instructors, gossiped about by instructors themselves, rude comments and much more .Once I graduated the thought of doing hair gave a sour taste in my mouth, this place haunts me and I’ll forever be traumatized from going to “school” here. It felt like a miserable full time job and I highly recommend you do your research before deciding on a proper hair school to enroll in. This one needs to be shut down, their robbing the experience from new stylists by making the whole experience a living hell. Do NOT go here .
Well I went to this “school” and now that I have been out in the field for a while I have come to realize that this “school” is a complete joke. I didn’t learn anything and apparently that’s the word around town that people coming out of there don’t know anything and employers are hesitant to hire people from there. Honestly it was SOO expensive and Totally not worth it. Go apprentice at a salon and do your schooling at Fanshawe or just anywhere else but don’t waste your time and money here. This school should be shut down. Oh and don’t even get me started on the drama that happens there ‍ !
I recently visited a local hairdressing salon for a haircut, and the experience left me feeling like a fungi fashionista. The stylist's interpretation of my desired look took an unexpected turn, resulting in a hairstyle that bore a striking resemblance to a mushroom. The salon itself had a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, communication about the desired haircut seemed to be lost in translation. Despite providing clear instructions, the end result left me with a head-turning mushroom-shaped hairdo that I hadn't anticipated. While the cut itself was technically well-executed, the stylist's creative twist didn't align with my vision. On the positive side, the salon staff were understanding and offered to rectify the situation. Although my initial experience was less than ideal, their willingness to make amends speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. In summary, while the unexpected mushroom makeover caught me by surprise, the salon's customer service and willingness to address the issue demonstrated their dedication to ensuring clients leave satisfied. If you're feeling adventurous and open to creative interpretations, this salon might just be the place for you.
I jion the school last year June, it's been am amazing moment with the instructors , they are never tired of putting you through what you don't no , you will have privilege of practicing all you were thought on clients ,robbi the director is amazing , kind and ready to listen to ur complain.
I recently attended this hair school academy and had an amazing experience. Miss Robbie, the principal, is an exceptional teacher who goes above and beyond to help her students succeed. Miss Bobbi Jo is a wonderful teacher who is passionate about the art of hair styling and is always willing to lend a helping hand. And Miss Simone is a fun and energetic teacher who creates a positive and engaging learning environment. Overall, I highly recommend this hair school academy for anyone who is interested in pursuing a career in hair styling.
I am a student here. It’s an Excellent school for hairstyling education and all Educators are amazing. I learned lots of experience. Always they are work around us, if I need a help, I find them a front of me. They are so helpful people and good teachers. Miss Robbie is a wonderful person. Always, help us, friendly and patient person. Miss Bobbi- Jo is a beautiful person and has a big experience in this field. She always fix our mistakes to be better. Miss Simone is a kind person and she has a white heart. She always make us laughing and she give us a positive energy and encourages us.
I am currently enrolled at The London Beauty Academy. My time here at The London Beauty Academy has been filled with drama and constant turmoil. From racist teacher to racist students, constant lies and fake tears. The level of unprofessionalism has been appalling and is absolutely shocking. The director has no back bone and unfortunately doesn’t handle any situation that is brought to her forcing students to go above her and email the owner of the academy where it seems like nothings being done there also. It took the school months to fire the old junior teacher over discrimination and racism that her students faced at her hand after multiple emails were sent to the director, where the director showed the student complaints to said teacher they were complain about infringing on her student’s privacy it took them multiple months for them to take action when there were witnesses and multiple allegations. The school has now fired a teacher over one student’s allegations just so that the student could return to school, well that specific student has been extremely disruptive and made multiple racist and discriminatory remarks to students and civilians in the mall where our school is located. This student also went on a smear campaign about the school on instagram and mentioned multiple students and has the audacity to want to come back here and start back at a school that she’s only ever talked bad about. Just because one student had an issue with a teacher and made allegations against said teacher, the rest of us students are being robbed of a proper education and left with unqualified teachers and majority of the work load going to the junior teacher who is a qualified teacher now which is not fair. The junior teacher and the teacher who was fired are the only two who showed a proper level of professionalism here at the school, made each and every student feel welcomed and apart of the school community. The teacher who was fired prioritized our education over doing clients and making money for the school which was greatly appreciated by the student. We no longer have a colour teacher nor a business teacher and that’s what I have left in order for me to graduate. I’m no longer too sure what I’m spending my money on and to be quite honest I haven’t been sure for a while now unfortunately.
Julian gave me a haircut and Brett blow dried my hair The experience was exceptionaly hair never looked this great after a cut! 100 percent recommended place
