Founded in 1954, we are the longest established CIDESCO beauty therapy school in the UK – and possibly internationally.
We also offer VTCT level 2&3 beauty therapy, nail technician, and advanced level 4 laser and IPL treatment training.

I have just completed level 4 laser & IPL with the Ray Cochran academy. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the team and Miglena our instructor, she is so incredibly knowledgable and very patient with the students, replying to every question we had in such detail.  I feel I have have 10/10 training and the machines we had to work on were of very high quality.  I feel excited to start my journey into laser. Thank you!

I completed my level 2 and 3 in nails and my level 3 in beauty therapy. I can not recommend Ray Cochrane enough. I am now going to complete my level 4 courses and looking forward to being back. They are knowledgeable about many things and the information they provide on their courses is very in depth. This helped me build my confidence to work in the beauty industry. I highly recommend them. They provide excellent support and are super helpful. The whole team from the teachers to the reception are great. Completely worth it!

I have done VTCT Level 2 facial at the school ,so would definitely recommend to all who wish to become a beauty professional. I am really grateful for giving us all necessary knowledge and practical skills. Especially thank Maria for being patient and giving us pieces of advice from her own experience

Just completed my Level 2 Facial and Skincare with Maria and loved it! She was amazing! We spent our first week at the old location and then continued learning at their new location just down the road. The new location has much more daylight and is a lot less crowded. Overall a great experience.

I love this school! Im completed level 4 laser year ago and just recently the new course for mesotherapy. Our teacher Maria was absolutely fantastic! So knowledgeable and nice person. I am happy and honoured to have been able to learn from experts in the field. The teachers were truly welcoming and patient throughout the course and I can only thank them wholeheartedly! I recommend this course 100%! Super satisfied and I will definitely come here for other training courses!

I would like to thank Ray Cochrane Beauty School for the professional training! I was qualified at Ray Cochrane for Beauty Level 3 and Level 4 . Tutors Laura level3 beauty and Miglena level4 lasers & IPL hair removal and skin rejuvenation are very professional and friendly. After study Within a week I got job at Laser clinic UK. I enjoyed very much studying at this school and I highly recommend. Thank you very much for your knowledge and professionalism!

I completed my Level 2 & 3 Facial Electrotherapy, as well as my Level 4 Microneedling & Chemical Peel courses at Ray Cochrane, and I am very happy with the overall experience. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive and making most of the classes engaging and enjoyable especially Pembe & Eleonora.  The Level 2 and 3 courses provided a strong foundation, and the Level 4 course, despite presenting a few minor challenges and communication issues, was still enriching. The knowledge gained has been great. I am definitely considering enrolling in another course at some point!

I finished a six week level 2 facial and skin care specialist course and I had the best time and I learned so much. Maria, my tutor, was so knowledgeable, patient and professional. I loved every single moment at the academy. Looking forward to completing more courses in the future. Highly recommend

Finished my VTCT Level 2 and Level 4 in Ray Cochrane. Overall an amazing school with the most knowledgeable teacher I've come across in all my courses - Eleonora. Eleonora truly is a gem, extremely patient, kind and able to answer every question. Missing 5th star as school definitely needs new space as school is very outdated, not very well kept, crowded with items, often missing such simple things as hand soap etc. Having said that, if I would choose to continue my learning, I would go for Ray Cochrane again.

I did my level 2 face course here and the teaching was mediocre. The process of getting any further updates regarding your certificate is also very slow and no one replies to your email. They're great at promoting their courses online but the teaching and comms is VERY POOR! Will not recommend at all. The cost does NOT reflect the level of teaching and service.
