Bought groceries and asked for a scratch card to be rudely told it's locked then wouldn't accept a £50 note which is all I had. Went to the petrol station up the Rd and spent it instead and they were lovely.
Small expensive little shop. Thankfully I couldn't part with my money as the cashier wouldn't serve a 47 yr old alcohol as I was in the shop with my 21 yr old autistic son. nnI won't be returning and will use Tesco at Farringdon or the Co-op in Highworth instead. Better range and cheaper. I think the staff also have more common sense as well!
It's a shop and they sell stuff! In all seriousness I found everything I was looking for and having Jack's by Tesco was a bonus. Friendly staff and centrally located.
Great selection of food, fresh bakery selection of pastries and bread and fresh vegetablesand fruit. There is also a hot drinks machine which was welcomed on a chilly day. I also appreciated the selection of vegetarian food and locally sourced products. Staff helpful.
