Story

We've had a major refit and transformed the Valley into a destination for historical education and events. If there isn't an event planned there will be something else to see plus the animals always like to see a friendly face too. So come and join us at the weekends and join in all the activities.


Directions to Holywell, Flintshire.

The Greenfield Valley can be found by following the A545 to Greenfield where this is free coach and car parking.

From the A55 leave at Holywell exit and follow the B5121 where there is also free car parking.

Great to see place to walk the dogs start at bottom of car park and end up at Tesco's in Holywell. Picturesque and full of historic buildings buildings

Never realised this little gem of a find was stashed away up the hill from the car park... never got to walk everywhere so really looking forward to going back... girls in the cafe were very helpful & understanding of my autistic foster son.

Great place but postcode as last two figers missing ,the disabled access up to the main building is not marked ,and the cafes pricers are two steep we didn't see any food price list so over paid for two pod coffee a bottle of coke a baked potato with cheese beens and two salty Boles of Tom soup with a very small role£18.24 .would not use the cafe again .

Pleasant walk along old railway trackbed. Very shaded by trees nice visitor centre and local cafe. Atmospheric ruins of abbey.
