Absolutely lovely staff. We wanted our dinner to take away asap as we was close to the bar. They was happy to that for us and by the time we got there they was half way through the order. Food is delicious. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Great place for food and fun!!
If you want a great Sunday lunch, beer at a sensible price, Staff which are helpful, polite and actually care then this is the place for you. Just down to earth people who are lovely and the food is great. Try it.
Old fashion inside when paying with contactless they dont let u look at the cost so u dont know how much it is going to cost till u look at your ank statement
"Simply the Best" - I honestly cant fault this place. First time visiting for sunday carvery! the place was very busy as it as mothers day, but the staff were so friendly and couldnt do enough for us. We had a wheelchair user in our party and they helped so much by getting our disabled member their food and allowing us to get ours. Staff and management were so attentive. Lovely flavour to the food and real meaty gravy! great selection of 4 meats and loads of veg. lovely selection of desserts. will certainly be going back.

A gem of a place for a carvery, fresh cooked choice of meats and numerous amounts of vegetables to sample. Never had a bad meal here and have been coming for a few years. Ideally you are better booking in advance for the Sunday carvery as it gets extremely busy and it avoids the disappointment if you turn up and there are no tables available. Once you get served at the bar you are required to wait to be shown to the table that has been allocated to you. All the staff are friendly and are very thorough in their job. The walls of the bar area are amassed with photos of the proprietor with past and present boxing legends and some of himself in his younger days. There is a car park either side of the establishment, within easy walking distance. TV screens adore the tap side of the bar area and also in the big eating area. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.
First visit for Sunday carvery.no frills place.but good atmosphere and can honestly say.food was great.proper home cooked carvery.cheap drinks.parking free near to the bar.would recommend.
