dont normally eat out but ordered a bucket with fries - was 25 minutes from ordering to arriving - the lady taking the order on the phone was polite - the delivery driver was friendly and curteous and the meal was lovely and hot and delicious and im not chicken and fries fond - really good service and we will be ordering again - thank you
Just ordered 2 x big daddy burgers 14 pounds. And a special wrap 5.99.onion rings 2.49 been charged 30.49 .I know prices have gone up .but I'll never order again. Was a big customer but now iv done daylight robbery.
Ordered from here today through the new Barnsley Eats app as they had a 20% off offer on. I’m not sure what time they close but ordered anyway as the app didn’t say it was closing soon or what time it closed in general, but upon arriving into the shop I was made to feel like I was an inconvenience to the young girl behind the counter that threw our food on the counter and the drinks to follow. I received no thank you or any other acknowledgment other than the fact that “the collection is here” if they were closing I’m unsure as to why they threw my order on the counter as they were making food for staff so surely my order wouldn’t have been that much of an inconvenience. As I was entering and during the time I was in the shop, I noticed the young girl that had an attitude as mentioned in the last paragraph picking her teeth with her long nails. This goes against health and safety guidelines around food not once, but twice. Why is she allowed to work around food with acrylic nails on in the first place? As a first time customer I’m afraid to say I’ll probably not be back and the only reason I’m rating two stars is because of the chicken burger. It was beautiful but the chips were nothing to smile about. Please educate your staff how to be safe around food, as germs under acrylic nails are one of the main factors of food poisoning - not to mention could contaminate someone’s food if a diamanté was to fall off into someone’s meal.
Ordered my food at 8.45 and asked for my order , which came to £10 something for them to tell me I had to spend another £5 aswel as £2.50 delivery charge . I asked if I could use card machine on delivery which they agreed, they then told me it would be 45 mins to an hour. Didnt turn up till 11pm !!! And no card machine ! So asked for my personal details over the phone ! Food was awful and freezing cold. Fuming. Wouldnt even tive 1 star.
We ordered a side order of baked beans for the children to have with their meals. The beans came in a small carton but when we opened it the beans were stinking, and clearly off RANK They were sour and fermented.. We called the shop who agreed they were off and were apologetic for serving them to us. They offered a free meal on our next order however when we attempted to follow up on that offer the following week, after placing the order online, the shop called me to say they could not give us a free meal and completely went back on their offer despite remembering the problem with the off beans. They changed the offer to just a 10% discount. I was shocked as we had been ordering from this place for YEARS. It just shows what kind of customer service or appreciation you get. If it was my shop i would bend over backwards for serving rank food however they have no care and no honor. I did report the matter to the council environmental health and fortunately they took the matter seriously and came to my house to collect the beans which i kept in my freezer. They said they would investigate and conduct a surprise visit to the shop. I hope it has made them think twice about serving rank food then insulting me by poor customer service and false promises. They have lost a long standing customer, my 4 kids loved their food but they will not care less. AVOID THIS PLACE.
Very sad day, been using this place for years, won't be using it again. Bfc has gone down hill fast! Last few times we have ordered there has been an item missing. They then "without first apologising" tell you it will be sent out straight away. NO.......IT WON'T! they will wait till there is another order to be delivered in your area, so about 45 minutes. Tonight's order was short "again" so phoned and got no apology, just told it would be sent straight out, 40 mins later it arrived. Driver pulled up outside with music on full, no mask, no manners, handed me the late food and when I thanked him he just made a grunting noise and walked off. But worse thing of all is despite everything else, the food is normally lovely, but tonight it was tasteless reheated rubbish. Fries were tasteless, salad was old and browning, and the burgers were dry and tasted and looked like they had been heated up from the night before. Beyond disappointed
Nice food, quick enough delivery
Ordered £20+ worth of meals via just eat app and paid online.they Forgot an item, once I'd rang to inform them they took them above an hour to deliver the missing item! Absolute joke! Disgusting, delivery driver had no mask or covid 19 protection.
Order my food at 9.47 Its now 11.04 i phoned them up to ask where my food is for them to tell me its been sent out ages ago . Never turned up and said they have turned everything off ... waste of time the shop . Never will i order here again
