What an amazing place, the facilities are pretty basic, but it’s camping at its purest. Woods, loch, surrounded by mountains. No mobile signal for miles (which is a massive plus for me)! The pitches are excellent, well spaced and very nice really, they have used a sort of rubber matting on gravel to stop them getting muddy. The staff were very helpful too.

Firstly, phone the mobile number given at booking on day of travel. Even though it states number if "arriving after 17:30", we arrived at 17:00 and gates were already locked. Meaning a 40min round trip back for some mobile phone reception to find gate code!! Be warned! The pitches themselves are not ready or not built.. facilities have been finished, yet the "pitches" leave a lot to be desired. I really wanted to like this place. Location is fab, views are fantastic.. But the pitch surfaces are terrible. Some are pure gravel, others are mud or marsh. Ours had 2" of mud and marsh rush growing all around it. It's basically a wild camp/marsh location turned into a site, without proper drainage/grass to support frequent camps in the same place.

they ruined ours last weekend before kids back to school. i've booked pitch 18 6 meter/4meter. in central piont of pitch is old broken tree. water under surface, there was no possibility to camp. Ground isn't level. they can offer me alternative - place on the beach, but they didn't. Just sent me back home

Good nice relaxing weekend, ranger couldn't have been more helpful . No tap water but we were provided with bottled water free of charge . Toilets were always clean and tidy and clearly were cleaned daily.
