Very bad service,so dissapointed. Booked taxi's for 5 working days to dropp off and pick up my kids to and from school,as had very urgent situation. Been aware that on the way are traffic and delays and due this reason,booked them with 20 minutes advance. All started yesterday and they are each time late above 20 minutes,up to half and hr. If you really need taxi on time orr when booked in advance please be aware qit this company you'll be late. Supper dissapointed
I would just like to recommend local cars in Urmston One driver in particular the young man who has the white electric car You will always recognise him because of his red hair A lovely pleasant young man I wish all the drivers were as pleasant as him
Used Local Cars today to and from Manchester Royal Infirmary and the service was excellent. Pre booked the journey in and the operator quoted the price. Turned up bang on time and had a lovely smooth journey. Very nice and friendly driver. When my appointment was over I could have got any taxi in Manchester but I decided that Local Cars deserved the business. Again a lovely smooth journey with another nice driver. I shall stick with Local Cars from now on.
We needed a taxi at 3.45am on Sunday morning. Our usual firm said " ring back after tea on Saturday and we should know if we have a driver available" - this from a supposed 24 hour service. A friend suggested Local Cars and when I phoned them a very helpful receptionist said there would be no problem. On Sunday morning middle of the night we received a text to say taxi had been dispatched and another to day it had arrived with details of car and driver. He arrived at 3.45am on the dot and he was lovely. More than happy to say goodbye to our old cab firm and use Local Cars in future- well done to you
Fabulous local taxi firm. Great personal customer service when you ring up. Reliable, friendly and professional drivers. We have used this taxi firm regularly from the beginning and have never been let down! Thank you to all the team at Local Cars.
Terrible service. Pre booked a taxi so my Mum wouldn’t have to wait outside or walk anywhere. They turned up half an hour late.- no apology. If there was an issue it would of been much appreciated if we were told we were going to have to wait half an hour. We were also told a different pick up point to where the taxi was told to go - which meant we had to walk back and forth to various “pick up” points which is difficult as my mum struggles to walk far. Advice: Do not advance book.

Shocking service/ unable to give a time of pickup whether 20 minutes or 3 hours. Would not recommend
