Great place for a walk. Parking for a short time (1hr) is a pound which seems reasonable enough but it's more for longer and it doesn't feel like there's enough there to warrant the higher car park costs. There is a decent little cafe and a playground (which is looking rather worse for wear). There is a visitors centre by the lake but there's not much going on there. If you visit in late summer at the right time - 1000s of small frogs can be seen moving between areas - kids love it!

Nice site for preservation, lots of creatures, including the lizards that appear in summer, all sunbathing on the boardwalk. Good for cycling, walking and generally getting outside. We visit in all weathers and are never disappointed! There is a small cafe here but the queues are typically long, but food is good (they even have gluten free cake!)

Really good short walks with good variety... lake, boardwalk, forest. But the path south from the car park was unfortunately marred by a high density of dog ***, despite frequent bins and signs to prevent this. Spent more time shouting "don't step in that" at the kids than enjoying the surroundings.

Beautiful views and well established paths for walking. The Paths to hold the water little so if it's been raining make sure you bring your wellies. Also bring money for the car park at the shop won't give you change unless you buy something.

Beautiful spring morning in Llyn Llech Owain! Thoroughly enjoyed walking, and exploring and of course a stop to the park for the LO before leaving.
