I went in to make a bank credit transfer yesterday, 8 March, at around one pm and I was served by a cashier at till 2. Admittedly I am a pensioner and I was looking particularly dishevelled as I have recently been ill and had been caught in the rain earlier. The whole manner of the cashier was rude from the outset as though she thought me a complete idiot. When it came to checking my receipt for the transaction she had written the payee's account number down incorrectly and when I told her she, firstly assumed I was looking at the wrong number, and then, instead apologising, said quite aggressively that the whole point of asking me to check was in case this had happened. Why does she have to be so rude?
