Immensely rude owner, not coming back here again. On asking very politely and slightly embarrassedly... about where he sourced the meat, he turned on his heel saying he didn't have time for this s**t the cafe was full, though that's only 15 or so people and there was NO queue. His friendly colleague proceeded to serve me, with an apologetic look, and my wife and I were happy to order and eat when the surly Mr Lix, clearly more suited to back-of-house duties, like slaughtering animals, muttered a very audible obscenity. I shouted at him to repeat himself, and of course he wouldn't, but that's the last we intend to experience of this unfriendly little shack.
Tables were dirty, sticky and crumbs from past customers on all tables is not a good sign, I was the only one in there, luke warm coffee as was to much hassle to warm up the milk? Its more important you have a smoke out front I know.. please wash your hands after smoking.
Choose your own delicious, quality fillings. Generously filled. Especialy great for vegetarians with vege 'bacon' etc. Lovely fresh crusty baguettes. Great value for money. Nice man seeing to everything. Really can't fault it.
Best bacon in Brighton plus the meat is locally sourced.
student discounts and great food you can't ask for any more than that
