Story

Liverpool Chamber of Commerce CIC is Liverpool's oldest and largest business support organisation and exists to create business.

The Chamber creates business in four ways:

• We create business through membership
We offer networking opportunities, hot desk facilities, marketing and promotional tools, representation and advocacy to government, mentoring and crime prevention support to help businesses grow.

• We create international business
We provide international trade and export support, including the issuing of certification documents, to enable UK businesses to successfully trade overseas.

• We create business skills and jobs
Our apprenticeship placements and qualifications enable young people to gain employment and skills in city region businesses that benefit from the youth, energy and passion such youngsters bring to their workplace.

• We create business leaders and entrepreneurs
Through our business start up accelerator programme, ‘Spark Up’, we will create businesses in the city region by supporting driven, passionate and committed individuals achieve success.

I've been a direct member for a few short years. However, I was engaged with the Chamber for several years prior through a previous employer. I highly recommend the Greater Liverpool Chamber because they genuinely have the vision to improve and empower their members. They show they can pivot in a difficult time and still provide value to our members and fulfill the Chambers purpose.
As a member of the GLCC for the past several years, I'm happy that it's such an active chamber with many opportunities to make business connections. It's events, activities, and website are resources that allow members to promote our businesses, find customers, goods, and services. And have fun together!
My experience with the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce has been a fruitful one for me and my business Admin-On-Call, LLC. I was invited to a "Coffee with the Chamber" event by a current member Robin Pinkiert and was so impressed with the structure and organization of the virtual event that I kept coming back each Tuesday. The topics and guest speakers are lined up to support, encourage and uplift each member and/or guest, especially during our present situation social distancing, quarantine and isolation. The opportunity to introduce ourselves and our businesses as well as share our thoughts on the "word for the day" is awesome to me. It's like an ice breaker to help everyone to engage and and be included. I would highly recommend the Chamber to anyone looking for community involvement, looking to belong to a group of people who are about bringing about change, making connections and doing it in a way where everyone benefits.
When I joined the chamber, I was greeted by a warm and welcoming crowd! They are extremely supportive of each other and are always trying to help each other out the best they can. They have a "serve others first" mentality which is rare to find these days. I highly recommend the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce!
As a member of the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce I am pleased with quality and quantity of networking and professional growth opportunities it has to offer its members. It also provides fun events for the community and its families. The Chamber remembers its mission by providing these opportunities to enhance the quality of life in the Greater Liverpool area.
I've been a member of the Liverpool Chamber since I returned back to Central New York in mid 2013. The events I attend are always informative and offer insight on whats going on in the community. I always meet someone new and have had success in networking with other businesses. I recommend the Liverpool Chamber to any business owner who can fit in a lunch once a month and is interested in networking with other businesses people in the community.
The Liverpool Chamber is a adventure in many ways. There is history, then there is today. I can look at the history, however, I am in the Chamber for today. The chamber has allowed me to connect with many prominent leaders in the CNY region. Each time one of these leaders presents at a meeting I learn more about how each of us fits into the economic structure of the local community. Through the events hosted by the chamber, I have met several business owners. After learning about their business I have chosen to work with them which in turn supports the "buy Local programs".
The Greater Liverpool Chamber of Commerce is a valuable resource. The coffee talk is a fun and resourceful networking event. The membership programs focus on the membership to help them grow their businesses.
A great organization to be part of! The Chamber has continued to offer innovative, virtual events for members during the pandemic. I have made so many valuable business community connections!
The Liverpool Chamber of Commerce is active in the community and offers a great network of people and businesses across the board.
