A small , no frills , small restaurant with very decent chinese food. The dumplings are authentic and tasty. The prices are very reasonable for the area. The place is clean and efficiently run although it's a little cramped. It's well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Food was pretty mediocre, crammed in round very small tables. Shouted at by staff to “hurry with order”. There’s being efficient but this was just rude. All they were interested in was getting your money and then sending you out the door as quick as possible when you’d finished. Table of guests next to us got attitude from server because one of their party didn’t turn up and they’d been placed at a larger table. No need to speak to paying customers like that. Also awkward for other guests in vicinity to listen too. Not entirely sure I would come back. Wheelchair accessibility: Unlikely they would accommodate wheelchairs given the little space they have
OK so the food is not good. Don’t get me wrong - I know it’s a cheap and cheerful but I don’t understand the reputation. Stodgy dumplings. Smacked cucumber salad that had spent way way too long in its marinade and bitingly cold from the fridge. Dan Dan noodles with literally water for stock - I had to dump in half the chilli oil pot and soya. I didnt expect miracles as it’s a cheap place but it has a great reputation. I wasn’t expecting the finest Chinese but overdone noodles in every dish - that can de sorted by any level of establishment…
Got there 10 mins after opening and working 10 minutes the place was packed. Service is direct and efficient. Order at the till. Really great fresh food. Would go again tomorrow!Food: 5/5
I decided to have dinner there. The food is amazing, the size of the portion is quite nice for their price. I wanted to have tea there , but haven't got any. The staff are quite weird, there was no smile from them - at all, not friendly staff.Food: 5/5
Very small place with grumpy staff. Beef ho fan and salt and pepper squid small portions. Both lacked flavour. Asked for a beer. Was given a alcohol free beer. I thought it was in error and asked the staff. Was told that's what they have. Sorry, I would like to be told if you are serving me alcohol free beer. Avoid dump monkey! Not sure why such high ratings for this place
The food was extremely bland. I got the chicken fried dumplings and beef soup noddles. The dumplings were at least edible with soy sauce but for 6.90 for eight dumplings I expect some flavor. The soup was bland, the beef was far too fatty, and the noodles were soggy. To make it even worse, the table I was sat at was sticky. Save your money and go somewhere more comfortable.
Price and food quality ratio is pretty good but unfortunately I never receive good customer service. I am not sure I’ll be coming back..it’s a shame.. ‍Food: 4/5
had the cumin chicken, aubergine with chilli oil and pork mince, beef and carrot dumplings and Dan Dan noodles. amazing flavours, extremely generous portions and all at an amazing price. had been a couple times but these dishes were unrealFood: 5/5
Food was alright, some like the honey chicken was great but the soup noodles and rice were strangely bland and tasteless. Quality of food is somewhat inconsistent between visits. The main issue was the main cashier who was very impatient and rude and unwilling to listen or understand when food intolerances was brought up otherwise the waiting staff did their job in a timely and efficient manner and we didnt have to wait to be seated
