Proper Chinese restaurant, very proficient friendly lady takes your order and the kitchen jumps into life. Big kitchen, clean bright, chef's uniforms clean and you can see it all through the window. Looks like they could cook a lot of food in there no problem at all. Would be nice if there were a couple of small tables (council probably wouldn't allow without a load of ###) Please put your opening hours on this google maps listing!

I had heard this was good so thought I'd give it a try as it's close to M6. In my opinion it is not very good. Duck and pancakes were ok but only average. Duck wasn't that nice. Nor was hoi sin sauce. Yuk sung was not good. Shiny and too saucy. No separate crispy rice. It was soggy under the mince. Lettuce halves were flat and dry. Salt and pepper prawns poor. Had gone soggy. Swimming in onions which I hate. (The best crispy prawns and crispy chilli beef I've had have no onions and the take always punch holes in the lid to stop the batter steaming and going soggy). Anyway, Gave it a 2nd chance. Honey and chilli chicken very bad. Nothing like it should be. Was small cubes of chicken swimming in a fluorescent pink red sweet and sour sauce with loads of onions again. No chilli nor garlic. And king prawn curry was ok but sauce very thin and watery and onions again. I liked the peas and mushrooms though. There are lots of bad Chinese takeaways in the Potteries and a handful of what I expect the standard to be. This one is average at best but below par really. Positives? The quickest I've ever known, so that's a bonus. And it looks clean even though I believe hygiene rating is 3/5. I won't be going back. Nothing was as Id hoped. I would say avoid this place if you like your decent Cantonese and Chinese takeaways. Maybe I'm being harsh - it's not so bad or awful but very very mediocre and nothing sings yummy or tasty or good - it's all bland.

Top class chinese food, probably the best in stoke on Trent, amazingly quick service, best dish salt and pepper king prawn
