Tasty fish and chips at a pretty decent price for a full supper. The staff were also really nice and filled up our water bottle. The best bit for us was the lication. We walked two minutes out the door and enjoyed our dinner at the picnic benches watching the sun going down and with a very friendly gull in attendance looking for snacks. The photo doesn't really do Cullen justice but it was beautiful.
Absolutely masters of their craft. Batter is perfectly light and crispy, proper chippy chips. Lovely spot down the road to enjoy the food with a view. Shop also spotless and very nice staff.
Anyone who reads my reviews know that I love my fish and chips. Slight trepidation ordering here after reading some of the reviews. So what did I think? Lovely haddock, good size and a nice batter. Chips well cooked and tasty. Yes there are some small chips/ bits. If someone criticised this I would ask if they have ever put a potato in a chipping device. Of course the chips are not all uniform. Would I return ? Definitely.
I rate the fish and chips here as the best in Scotland. Best chips I have ever tasted with crispy exterior and fluffy inside. Obviously, the Haddock is so fresh, and the batter is light and not greasy. It's worth the wait to get them freshly cooked.Food: 5/5
Really loved the smoked haddock Generous portions Well cooked Very tasty Friendly staff Ended up eating our dinner at the picnic site just down the road Very picturesque
Such delicious fish and chips! So fresh and well-cooked. And there are picnic benches a short walk downhill so if the weather’s nice you can sit and enjoy the view along with your meal.
Great chips, they are the sort that have a new potato crisp taste. The fish is cooked to perfection, however don't order the squid rings. I'd definitely eat here again, because besides the squid it's one of the best chippies I've eaten in.
Unfussy food, good portion sizes and friendly staff. Well worth a visit!
A friendly chip shop with a great menu, especially the vegan options. The pizza works out a little bit steep with extra toppings, however it is delicious. The best vegan pizza I've had! The chips are crisp and tasty with a good flavour. Definitely one to check out!
There’s always a queue outside today being our last day of our week’s holiday we paid a visit all meals cooked to order the fish was so fresh you could taste the freshness and chips where nice not greasy disappointed with the batter thought it was slightly soggy inside decent menu decent prices
