Very average Sunday lunch - lacked seasoning all round & the red wine gravy was not!! Tasteless packet gravy mix is unacceptable in a restaurant. No horseradish sauce with our roast beef either. A good Sunday dinner is an easy ask of a good chef & kitchen. Nobody asked if we wanted more drinks or deserts. Dogs allowed in bar & outside covered part of restaurant. Need to book at weekend to ensure getting a table.
Very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere, friendly service and excellent food. One of the nicest pub meals we've had in a long time and one of the best burgers I've had since I can't remember when. Everything was well cooked, well seasoned and delicious. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie and vegan options, the pea hummus was delicious Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staff that know how to behave around tween kids
Amazing staff, very friendly and great service. They allow camper vans and motorhomes to park for the night if you eat at the pub. This is our second visit and we'll be back for a third!Food: 5/5
Really lovely pub/restaurant. Very helpful and intuitive staff who anticipated our needs and were very accommodating of our two little ones both my husband and myself commented that it's the first place we have taken our two that have really considered our children in our meal experience. The food was excellent, great choices on the menu and a really good children's menu. Would highly recommend! Kid-friendliness: The best place we have taken our children whilst also feeling like an adult meal out.
Fab Sunday lunch, found on the off chance as we were staying near by and every other eating establishment locally seemed to only serve food until 3pm on a Sunday! Lovely friendly staff and great surroundings, food was really good and service very attentive! We will be back with the kids in tow next time for sure, they would love it! Many thanks
Food was amazing. The service from all expecially Rob in the restaurant was brilliant, very friendly, accommodated our needs and everything was brought out to the table when asked. Lovely guy.Food: 5/5
The service was great. We though the meal was a little expensive for the meal. I had Buttermilk fried free-range chicken burger, chipotle mayo, rainbow slaw, pickles, skin-on fries 15.95 which was infact just a small flattened chicken thigh in coating - it would have been much more fairly priced if it was a chicken breast at least.
Lovely pub with various areas to sit in . The outside is lovely but a bit warm under the plastic roof, the views to the hills are ample compensation. We went for the restaurant area where the seats are more comfortable and you can still just about get the views! Food was well prepared and presented. Service although slow at times was friendly and polite. The food tasted very good and was a good portion. The koffmann fries were very good. Overall pricing gives you a high degree of expectation, which they haven't quite achieved yet.
Excellent meal, very friendly staff, topped our holiday off perfectly. Daughter especially enjoyed the biscoff doughnuts we didn't even get a look in!. Would definitely recommend.Food: 5/5
Lovely food at good prices. Lot's of outdoor space and plenty of tables inside . Well worth a visit .
