Lilac Bank is the perfect place! Paula and Graeme are the most welcoming hosts with recommendations for places to see and eat in the area. The cottage is private and spacious with a cozy double bedroom on the 2nd floor, and has everything you could possibly need; lovely new kitchen, living/dining room, 4 piece bath and the most beautiful garden. Crosshill is central for exploring Ayrshire. We've stayed twice on our visits from Canada and look forward to staying again on our next visit to Scotland.

We have been fortunate to stay in this B & B several times now when visiting the area and each time we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners spoil you with homemade cakes etc upon arrival and breakfasts are plentiful usually with homemade bread and marmalade as well as full scottish, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit and much more. The cottage is ideal and private as you have your own entrance and key, double bedroom, bathroom and a small snug with wood burning fire which is lovely on a cold winters day. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and we would highly recommend you visit. A 5 star review is an honest review of this B & B.
