I love this store, it's so spacious! Even after the recent developments the store has gone through it is an even more amazing shopping experience. Always get what I'm looking for and the management team and all colleagues are absolutely amazing. I truly love this lidl store
I was there today with my two kids and unfortunately I was having an issue on my shopping cart. Staff was very helpful from the first moment. I believe he was the store manager. He was so kind and responsive. Thanks again Lidl Plough Lane.
majority of the products are fresh however i have found veg or cheese that are gone off a few times. Visible mould The potatoes aren’t the freshest, brought them home and once peeled visible signs of them going off. However, the Lidl Bakery is delicious! But the staff members arent very friendly. Had a lady breathe on my shoulder at a self checkout as if i needed to be watched to not steal, im a regular at this store, found it very offensive. Another time another staff member was huffing and puffing when i tried to show him he made a mistake with approving an item on the self checkout. I almost got charged extra so just tried to explain that. The isles have changed and its very confusing where products are now, it was perfectly fine and easy to remember the way it was before.nSelf checkouts dont accept cash anymore. There are 2 lanes but majority of the time only 1 part is open which makes queuing up longer than needs be.nThe staff definitely need some more training on customer service or maybe they just need a better pay so they arent this sour when dealing with customers.
In September my husband left his wallet at the checkout in Lidl. Very nice Lidl staff secured the wallet and gave it back to us the next day when we went to pick it up. First of course the manager made sure that the wallet definitely belonged to my husband.nThank you
Used to be a nice place, but isles are getting smaller and no small baskets available at any time. Cash is not accepted at the self service checkouts and there is only one manned checkout so I had to queue up for half an hour behind people with three big trolleys. Got pushed around as the self checkout queue merged into ours and then people trying to pay for just one item in cash trying to skip the queue. Certainly not worth the hustle as prices are getting higher and reductions smaller. Time to shop somewhere else.
