Needed milk for the journey home but gor a few extra items. Found the lidl in pickering slightly cheaper than leeds which was fine. Nice store environment and no problem paying.
Good place to shop in Pickering for cheap food. This is one of there smaller shops with an equally small car park. The bakery is the main selling point actually maybe pricennLidl is a shop with lots of stuff but never the range of the larger supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury's so often you have to go there too.
Honestly if we could shop elsewhere we would. But the co op is just so much more expensive. All the shops in Pickering have lovely friendly staff. But not Lidl they are so rude and can’t be bothered to even speak to you. So miserable unfriendly unapproachable you do really feel like you are an inconvenience while you shop.
Small but clearly an asset for Pickering's locals if not local shops?. A sub-set of all the usual stuff. Car park hemmed in by geography so rather small.nWe always check for the nearest Lidl when booking holiday cottages. This one was on route and only 35 mins away. Whitby closest.nnJune 24. Back in beautiful N Yorkshire this time staying in Pickering itself. Still an excellent, albeit small, Lidl. But the 6 disable parking places had only 2 of the 6 cars displaying a badge.
Needed some shopping popped into Lidl in Pickering. Nice car park at the rear of the store a little tight to get into some of the parking spots but ok. Shop has plenty to offer at good prices. Staff are friendly and welcoming will use again if I'm down this way.
