Had to put the shopping back because the queue was too big. Also not push chair friendly as you can't get out if you need to change the baby etc be as the gates are locked had to wait 5 minutes with a crying until a member of staff had time to open it.

If you like to have a few cans before throwing on a tracksuit to go shopping in then this is the supermarket for you. I wouldn't bother with a shopping list though.. you're better off standing right in the doorway and looking around for inspiration, perhaps shouting to an imaginary partner about what's for dinner. A jobseeker's allowance cheque can get you a whole trolley load of unpronounceable beer and about 35 tins of beans. Enjoy.

Ok for some of the basics like tinned goods, cereal and frozen foods. And very good chocolate.  You can save on other super market prices. Fresh stuff poor though. Every time I bought cheese here it was either mouldy when I opened it or went mouldy within a day even with a good date. The bagged salad was slimy too.

Love how all Lidl stores are set out the same. I visited a few on holiday in Bulgaria and it was like being back home. Great Value stores !
