After 12 years of shopping at my local Newby store I’m sorry to say I’ve given up with it. I’ve given the new change and extra lines they’ve brought in a chance but for me personally it doesn’t work. I can’t buy the brands I use too (especially frozen products) and those few that are do remain the prices have shot up recently or are out of stock. I’m gutted as I use to love this store and front line staff do a great job.

A great little supermarket that caters for every need. Some prices are higher than the big supermarkets, which is to be expected, but there are also plenty of bargains to be had. There is even a deli and fresh meat counter. 
Upstairs is a reasonably comprehensive DIY section along with gardening and stationery sections.

What a nice shop, first time we called in at Scalby near Scarborough, the staff and especially the boss were all very friendly and helpful, will certainly be going back, lift for disabled, disabled car park.
