Visited the store today and noticed someone without a child had parked in a mama and baby bay. I reported it to the store manager, expecting at least a conversation or follow-up—but nothing happened. I even stayed around to see if he’d address it, but he didn’t. Extremely unprofessional.nnThese bays are there for a reason, and it’s frustrating to see people misuse them without consequence. Shame on those who take these spots when they’re not entitled to, and shame on management for turning a blind eye.
Just got back from lidl ossett. When I got to the till to pay I loaded all my shopping onto the convyer belt and the shop assistant on the till saw me there and waited until I had loaded my last item on to the belt to then look at me and say this till is closed!.. when I asked her where the closed sign was she looked up and pointed to the sky I had no idea what she was pointing to as I certainly couldn' t see a closed sign in the sky! She then pointed to the red light on the number above her head. Now this is firstly not good for those who wont think to look up at a red light in the sky and secondly being colour blind means its hard to determine what the colour is!nThe lady on this till was rude and non helpful.nnI then loaded all my stuff back into my basket and went over to the self service tills where we were all crambed in together like sardines with no room to monouvere. It was so cramped a shop assistant needed to get his baskets back to the other end of the shop and he rambed into my basket i'm glad there were no eggs in the basket nnAt the end of the self service tills you then needed a reciept to get out and some elderly man hadnt picked up his reciept so couldnt get out, your shop assistant wasn' t helpful despite the fact the man was stood there with a trolley of paid goods.. i had to let him out with my reciept or he would have still benn there.nnAdvicenIf a till is closed put a closed sign at the end of the till, if a shop assistant is serving were not going to think the till is closed!nManagement sort your rude staff out.
Parking fine, a total farce I used the Lidl car charger for the first time, I left my car and set a timer on my phone for 85 minutes and had a walk then returned to the store to do my shopping this is when thinks when down hill as I was in the self check out Que when my 85 minutes was up but still hadn’t checked out 1 minute to spare and I paid and went to car then scanned QR code on the charger this didn’t work I tried again still didn’t work so I had to pay full price so now the charging at Lidl had become a wast of time, now the 3rd problem the charger plug wouldn’t disconnect from my car not Lidls fault but due to this and googling what to do and how to disconnect charging plug I got a fine ffs
Normally they are a brilliant place to shop .However last week when we went for some reason they upgraded all of the store and to leave you need to scan a receipt.Which is good for them but the staff were so mad at my children just for standing near this new system to have a look at it . They should definitely have a closer look at staff and get new ones and get rid of these rude ones at the self service counters.Also they now have less cash self services so if you want to pay cash you have to pay in the counters and wait in a 20 minute line and they never open up more than 2 to be more efficient.They need to be better
