Their Toffee Yum Yums are hands down the best sweets you can find in Northern Ireland – nothing else comes close! The only downside is they often end up squished in those shelves – such a shame for something so delicious!
Guy on the till rushed my goods through as if he was in a competition even when I asked him specifically to slow down a bit so I could get things packed, he was basically rude and just kept stacking everything higher and higher ignoring me, I struggled to do the packing and was not happy!! No consideration for the customer whatsoever, won't be back!
Be aware if you don't pay attention at checkout the cashier will make you pay for their drink.
I have been shopping here at Lidl Cookstown for a few years. In the last year it has gone down dramatically, the shelves are almost always out of stock, there is never a basket to take to do your shopping when you enter the store, you have to go to the checkouts to find one, the stock as i said is almost always empty, I mean I went in there yesterday, at 5:20 and they had no eggs, no tuna, no sardines, no children's vitamins for nearly 3 weeks now..... the staff are nice but the stock level control is a total disgrace, I no longer can rely on going there for a shop, as its now almost certain that they will be out of some daily product, and we end up having to go to Dunnes or Tesco to complete our shop. Lidl need to wake up and start ensuring that there shelves are stocked to suit and fit demand, its 2024, not 1984, the technology is there to keep stock maintained, Dunnes, Tesco can do it why cant Lidl?????????nnGetting more and more frustrating shopping in Lidl
