My favourite Lidl and it is only a five minute walk. Staff are helpful. It is always well stocked. Car park looks clean and tidy. Best of all the mix of groceries and non food items mean great choice without trailing round as you have to in the 4 biggies.

Great selection of stock at very reasonable prices (except when it snows - then it's like "Old Mother Hubbard"!) No stealth fines for parking here unlike Lidl in Dundee that will issue you a stealth £90 parking fine if you exceed 10 minutes (HTF are you supposed to park, shop, pay and get out in 10 mins??? - it takes 10 mins just to queue to pay for your shopping!!!) ... stealth because you don't know you've been fined until you get the bill through the post a few weeks later. Anyway, the Brechin one is ok.

Just been to Brechin Lidl today, what a mess! Stock cages and cardboard all over the store, chillers and freezers half empty!! Bakery fine if I wanted doughnuts or other sweet stuff but bread and rolls sadly lacking. Bought a cauliflower on offer? Straight in bin as was mouldy. Also a joint of beef 'on offer' Strangely was charged full price at till. Thankfully Aldi now open in Montrose 😁
