Generally a great place to shop, as long as you aren’t picking up any raw meat, that’s often extremely low quality and rotting days before it’s supposed use-by date. Salads are often wilted on the store shelves too.nnOther branches don’t seem to have this problem, so I’d be wary of picking up any raw meat or fresh produce here.
Easy parking. Good cheap selection. Thai lentil curls. Just what I needed. Short queue to pay, but chirpy customers and staff stay cheerful even though obviously very busy. Great.nUpdate. 7/23 Decided to get a Lidl plus card. That'll alarm the financial institutions I owe money to.
If you want your shopping thrown at you then great! We've taken to shoving it all back in the trolley then packing in the car at our own pace so goods are not damaged.nUnderstand it is the company and not employees to blame here though, and it is handy and much cheaper than the co-op!!
My favourite Lidl and it is only a five minute walk. Staff are helpful. It is always well stocked. Car park looks clean and tidy. Best of all the mix of groceries and non food items mean great choice without trailing round as you have to in the 4 biggies.
Nice friendly and helpful staff and good choice of products. My only complaint would be that staff are always going round with pallets of stock and it is a bit awkward, especially for someone who has some mobility issues. An excellent asset in this store is that there is a customer toilet. This is much appreciated I am sure.
