Just wanted to say how above and beyond these folk go… never really been much of a fan of Aldi til I moved to Montrose. They are really so nice and up for a laugh, highly recommend this store *****
I have been going to Aldi Montrose for sometime now, and I must admit it seems to be going backwards, early last year I complained about the toilets being dirty, and since then I try and not use them , but being of a certain age , I can't dictate when I need. Anyway on the 24th December we were there and I had to use said toilets, and the toilets were a disgrace, I found a old rotten Sandwich behind the bins. Then a week later 31st we were back again and I needed toilet yet again, and the same sandwich was there, what does that tell you, disgraceful.
I was in the Montrose Aldi yesterday 7/11/25. I had a minor operation on my stomach the day before so couldn't lift the basket up on to the till. The Aldi employee couldn't have been more helpful I'm sorry I don't know his name but my visit was at 2.45 -3.00pm.nMany thanks. Give the man a pay rise or something.
I need my 100% Nuts! peanut butter by Grandessa back. They haven't restocked the 340g jars in weeks, and I don’t have the willpower to keep a 1kg tub at home without overindulging :nnEdit: They're back!!!nBut sadly, it's no longer 100% peanuts. I don't mind, though, since the added ingredients: palm oil and salt, make up about 3% of the overall weight. The palm oil keeps it 'no stir required', which is understandable and worth it IMO. I personally don’t tolerate added sugars and other unnecessary additives in peanut butter. If I want more sweetness in my peanut butter sandwich, that’s what adding honey or jam is for. Peanut butter should taste like peanuts!
Great choice of healthy food If u want it for a great price also a good craft beer selection
