A few items we’ve bought during our weekly shop have be out of date by the time we’ve gone to use them so I checked the dates of “fresh” items on our visit on the 9th of February, glad I did. Some fish was a day out of date, numerous “fresh” chicken items expired that day but worst of all some salmon was 2 weeks out of date. It had started decomposing which could obviously make some ill so I removed the whole tray from the chiller. Staff and Customer Services informed. Definitely check the dates here.There were also no bags in fruit and veg area. Not a well run supermarket so we won’t be shopping here again.
I never shared my experiences but this time I will do it. The security staff member is absolutely awful. The tall guy who’s always there is tailgating me everywhere I go. I’m a young woman and he thinks I am a thief while I visit this Lidl every single week. Unfortunately, I am very uncomfortable so I decide for the first time in my whole life change to Asda. Never came across with this harassment before, I understand it’s his job to keep the store and people safe but if you do properly your job you must know your loyal customers . Even though I decided not to bring nothing on me no handbag so I can buy in peace thinking there’s no hazards for him , he keeps tailgating me every day I go shopping. Never again I will go back .

This evening, I purchased two almond croissants from your store Hazlewick Avenue . Unfortunately, upon consumption, I discovered a slice of bacon inside one of the croissants. This was extremely distressing, as I am Muslim and consuming pork products is strictly prohibited haram in my faith.nnThis incident is not only upsetting but also raises significant concerns about food handling, cross-contamination, and product labeling within your store. As a customer, I trust that food items—especially those that are clearly not meant to contain meat—are prepared and handled appropriately.
I find this little Lidi a gem . Staff is always helpful and goes that extra mile. Pletty of parking and 8 disabled places. A great range of bakery items, fresh and very delicious. Pletty fresh fruit and veg available. The prices compared to other supermarkets can be a big difference. I added pictures of cold meats. These around £1.09 each and big ham £2. You be paying double in most places. Pletty of parking to for 2hrss.
