I am unable to cash my own shopping and the staffed tills were closed please think about your elderly or disabled customers and the staff member young Asian man scanned my shopping whilst assisting other customers. Well done and thank you. Please Lidl hire more staff you clearly need more staff. Keep up the good work with the Lidl plus card
I really like coming to this store usually but today i had a bad experience. As of having an emergency situation and asking the staff at the till that had just closed her till and finished almost serving her last customer, I asked her if she Lisa please could help me quickly and scan my two items and aswell give cash back, so that I can make my way to the station. As of feeling already really upset, I got told to queue up on the other till. I was begging her to please help me as it wouldn't take more than 1 min. She became rude and told me to move to the other till. I thought Lidl was all about freshness and customer service. I then had to queue at the other till which took so long. Today, I left the store with tears and disappointment.
Good value and we got most of what we needed. To be fair it was Sunday afternoon so the fruit and veg selection wasn't at its best and the bakery produce had all been cleared away. Good variety for healthy eating shoppers - would recommend but just not on a Sunday afternoon. Other downside was that the checkouts were slow - only one open most the time and staff seemed bored but hey it wasn't far from closing time.
Not a big branch, but sufficient for a lot of the essentials. Staff members are kind and polite as usual. The self-service is available, saves a lot of time despite the queues. Prices are the usual Lidl prices.
This Lidl is always well stocked up, which is handy when you can only shop in the evening.nIt has a bakery corner and a good variety of products; self check out machines work in other Lidl I've been to, they're not always working! - though they only accept card payments.nOverall, I'm really happy with the supermarket.
