This is the best Lidl I've been to. It has self service checkouts as well as normal tills which makes it much faster to get the shop done because people with a small basket don't need to use the main tills and cause a big queue. Also the self service tills work better than in other supermarkets so you aren't constantly waiting for staff to fix it.nnIt's a big Lidl so has a really good selection of food including a seasonal area which changes if you want something different. Everything is reasonably priced so you don't feel ripped off when you come to pay, and the quality is great.nnIt has a really good bakery and if you get the app they are always giving you free bakery items which is a nice bonus as well as the discounts.nnEven the trolleys are better than other supermarkets because if you have a child there is a bit at the back for them to stand on as they ride round. Or they can use the little kids trolleys.nnThe staff are always helpful and polite.nnThis is the best supermarket in my opinion as it feels like everything has been thought through.
Always a wide range of things you need at low prices, and a wide range of products you don’t need because “ the deal was too good to be true!”nAlways been clean, rarely get a problem with their products, Lidl always quick to resolve any issues.nThis branch can suffer from the entrance/exit being close to a busy junction, so patience required. And finding a cashier is always a challenge, which Lidl seems to be famous for!
Emergency Saturday morning bacon 'artisan' rolls, ingredients courtesy of Lidl.nUp there with the best, but that may be down to the cook. nnLidl sauces are just as good as Heinz/HP, and a fraction of the price.nWhat's not to like?
Great shop nice bakery with sourdough bread with no ultra processed ingredients in it less chance of diabetes etc from chemical bread and tools are great I use them for work all the time where else can you get 3 years warranty ie. A dremel tool is over £100 nowadays this same tool at Lidl was £30 wow A £24 bag with ten boxes for screws etc and a free bag best that I say. Have a great day x
Nicely laid out store, good bakery section, plenty of food to eat on the go and self service tills. Car park can be hard to get out of at busy times.
