Go every day with the dog, love the park and how ot changes over the seasons and great party's in the park every year
Its a lovely place a small park . Good size field no toilets. Waterlogged when we have heavy rain.
Good park area and area's to go walking. There is also a caged style football/basketball pitch with a tarmac surface. Only reason that stops 5 stars is it can be quite poor with dog fowling and broken glass although I'm not sure how the park would police that
A brilliant August Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was joyful. Looked like more people had come to support the local charity stalls and bands, lovely gift stalls with great wares to sell. Everyone at the park seemed to be enjoying their selves. Funfair rides never stopped, lots of laughter & screaming of joy could be heard. The weather was sunny and hot. The portaloo toilets were a great idea, queuing was minimal. Thank you to all who had input to make this a wonderful day. Restrooms: For the party in the park August Bank Holiday 2022 the park toilets were locked up, but portaloos were available to use. There were hardly any queuing & if there was a queue you were not waiting in it for long. Many thanks to all those who organised this.
Lovely park with playing fields
Nice place to take your dog for a short but stimulating walk
Nice park with football pitches
Perfect place to walk, play football, basketball and any other sport. There is a children's play area, a concrete football pitch/basketball court and 3 grass football pitches.
Great for the kids and dogs
The local volunteers try their best. Some good events on through the year too. Can be boggy though, the horses don't help and the local "yoofs" Like a good part on there and leave the usual litter and broken bottles. Not a bad park in the right weather etc
